He is in lust over all of them....

In the back of the Nederland tourney program they had a list of past all-tournament players,  I assume they had one this year.  Who were the players that made it?

Even at that,  after the first quarter we had their full attention.  A team that is supposed to be that much better than us should have been able to turn things around and take control,  especially when our top 2 were in foul trouble.

[/quote] That goes right back to the head coach.  There is no excuse for a coach making a statement like that as far as I am concerned.  Yes you can have confidence in your team but never discount youir opponent that way.  If Ball was not taking the Tigers "serious" then it goes back to poor coaching in that respect.  One he motivated us even more and two he let his team overlook a talented team.  Shame on you Coach.

Was there an all tournament team in Nederland?

Santa on this one I have to tend to lean on Lazeek's side. We have played some larger schools. The three best being Ball, Ozen, and WB. Those aren't weak teams. We are in 2 tourneys this yeà r that are pretty weak for the Tigers. I think. We only have 2 more good games before district WB and Navasota. Our schedule could be a lot better with a couple better tourneys.

Thought about Sells but forgot about Whittaker.

At the end of the year you may have to add Kelton Gaines as well. He needs some more playing time first.

DC, Prentice, Green from Ozen, Smith-Central, Gus and Prudhomme. Maybe McDaniel from Kountze. I know there are some players from some of the larger schools just not familiar with them.

Never say never. Last year you would not have thought HJ would have beat the Tigers. But they did.

State semis!

We were missing Gaines and Holmes. So we played with only Wilson as far as our regular pt guards go. And he was limited by foul trouble. Still no exccuse other guards can play that position just too many poor passes in that one. But yes we need to play up every game.

The Tigers have only lost 2 games. The other was to Ozen. A game that we didn't play well in.

We may have lost but he is still pulling his foot out of his throat!!

What a statement.  I couldn't be any more proud of the Tiger's!!  If they improve the free throws and continue to get better,  it will be a fantastic season.  Great to see the Kelton and Prentice with big games.  And even better to see them handle things with DC  and Prentice with 3 fouls in the first half.

I can't wait to here some of the stats on this one.  The Tigers had to have several players with big games.  And a great defensive effort.  Who defended Petteway?

And Cleveland has been expected to for 2 or 3 yrs now.

Thanks! I think he sent everyone from the whole state. We were crazy all day. And not being at the game was driving me crazy. Now after seing how good a game it was, I am even more upset.
