1. Oh and I can say another thing: if the Tigers leave Sutherland shooting as many open 3's like he was against Legacy,  then we deserve to lose!!!
2.

On the prediction side this game is tough.  The matchups are close all down the line:  Coaching-both great staffs,  the edge has to go to the Hawks based on accomplishments, fans-  for this one will be about even,  bench-  HJ uses their bench quite well but this year I believe this is the Tigers biiggest advantage based on the number of quality players on the bench, PG- Gus vs Gaines  both are real good the slight advantage is probably Gus's, SG-  Sutherland vs Barrett-  the edge goes to HJ as far as shooting but Barret is faster and a better defender so maybe even, SG-  Lane vs Bosha-  both play big parts for their team but  Lane has the experience and is bettter all around right now,  FW-  Harris vs Persohn- pretty even but Persohn has the edge in offensive output, and the big matchup DC vs Prudhomme-  both are huge for their teams but DC has the all around advantage with Sean not far behind.  The Tigers have a couple of PGs who can come in if Kelton gets in foul trouble who can hold their own not sure how well HJs backup will do.  If either  Lane or DC get in foul trouble or Prudhomme or Gus for HJ,  it will be big advantages for the other team.  The top 6 players between these two teams are pretty equal but I think the Tigers depth gives them an advantage this year.  I think the Tigers take this one but a district split will not be a big suprise to me.
Wow ST413, great post, I agree with you, but individual match ups are not as important as how well they execute....I think it is going to be a great game and I cant wait.
I can't wait either..It will be interesting to see these two go at it.  Hopefully the Tigers won't be rusty.  It will be great to see how each one deals with the others pressure and how big a part the Tigers speed plays.
3. I am afraid I would have to put my money on the HJ guys on the golf course!
4. 1200? that sounds kinda low. I thought the gym held twice that many.
5. 48 hours until the newly christened "Hardin County Havok"!!
6.
Not what I was told last night.........
That is what Coach told me himself last night.  He has an appt. tomorrow.
7.
Does Coach Williams not being allowed at the game or the gym have an affect on the game or the outcome????
Definitely could have an effect, but that problem may be taken care of tomorrow.

9. I will say this, after experiencing this rivalry the last several years,  noone except parents of players from other schools,  should miss this game.  The atmosphere and game itself is like no other in the area.  I doubt there are too many around the state that can rival it.
10. They won't even have to wait till after. They can mellow out halfway through the first quarter!! :D
11. That's for sure!!
12. No 3's just dunks!!! :)
13. AAW when the Tigers played Leacy we were without 3 starters unless a change has been made lately:  Lane, Gaines and Barret.
14.
Let's hope they're falling Friday! Congrats Grayson!
Nooo. He better not have that many open looks friday!!

17. Great game, Greyson!!  Still don't know why Legacy didn't glue someone to his pocket after the first quarter though.
18. I left this one early in the 4th quarter,  HJ's starters were still in probably not for long.  Sutherland had a great game.  He had hit 11 3's by the time I left.  Congratulations, Greyson. Maybe the hardest part to believe would be that he was still getting open looks late in the game after hitting so many in the 1st quarter.
19. One thing doesn't change: Sutherland can still shoot!!
20. Its easy to have 2 guys average a good deal of points if the other 3 aren't scorers!!
21. Yeah we know HJ wins state about every 25 years,  so we know they have about 20 more years to wait!!!
22. Grinch you better get your DR up there in Rusk to take you off somwe of those happy pills. They are making you dillusional. First off DC is a returning all-state player. His numbers last year earned him that honor. He didn't need to score a ton or rebound a ton with two 6'6 players under the basket. Second, to think Burkeville could give the Tigers a run for their money is assinine. We beat you by 40 or 50 with DC cracking jokes on the bench. If he played you wouldn't have made as many easy inside shots as I am sure you did or rebounds for that matter!!
23. I didn't get to see this game so I can't have much of an opinion on how good the kid is.  By stats it looks like the Tigers more than handled him.  The thing that gets me is that by the original post basing this player on one game seems to be what was desired.  The post stated Silsbee couldn't hold him look at the tapes.  So judging him by that game seems to be what was being asked!!
