[/quote] They most likely are the best 3A team the Tigers faced besides HJ.  HJ handles the press pretty well themselves but what played a major factor in their only loss.....the Tiger's press!!

[/quote] I did see the incident you are referring too.  I was quite disappointed in the action.  It was not a justified response.  However, it was a response. I was watching these two players during the pause in play.  Splendora's #21 was in our players face jawing at him during most bof that pause.  I don't know what was said but do no it was animated enough that his head was swaying back and forth.  Yes,  I am sure there was other mouthing in the game both ways.  Like I said the response was dissappointing.  Now to say Splendora totally outclassed the Tigers is a load of BS.  I watched your #34 throwing elbows on trips down the floor many times as well as receiving a foul for sticking his foot out and tripping a Tiger going down the floor.  As a matter of fact,  I had other fans tell me that they thought Splendora's tactic in the second half was to antagonise the Tigers. So this was not exactly a "classy" game by either team. Now I will congratulate Splendora on a great season and a great effort tonight,  they never gave up and made it a quite interesting game.  Now lets play better friday Tigers.

That might work a little but evenif one of our area teams could match up with Yates starters, the game would still end up lopsided.  We dint have the numbers to keep up the pace or the talent in those numbers.  I will out it this way and in all honesty this is not a knock on him, but it has been stated that Prudhomne is the best playerin SE TX,  I dont think he would start and may not even be the first or second off the bench at Yates. Now does that mean give then the title next year? Heck no, it only takes one bad game to be sent home!

The only thing hj's intellectual power would have done is told them to get the heck out from under the basket before they were "posterized". The only question is would they have had enough athletic ability to do so.

Wouldn't have expected much, knowing they arent a big name.

Coldspring will only have to win one game to set themselves up in position for a possible amtchup with the Tigers.  We have to win two one over Royal.

This is the second game of a double header.  Don't know much about the other two Washington and Reagan.

[/quote] Very good analysis.  I don't attend many girls games but was there due to a niece being on Huffman's  team.  Huffman only played 6 or 7 players and when they made a run in the fourth they ran out of gas.  Orangefield played a great game.  As far as Huffman,  its a shame they played so few players.  If they had played more,  maybe those on the floor late in the game could have kept there run going.  Oh and for you OF fans/cheerleaders you have to drop that "Who are you rooting for" cheer,  nobody should copy that from hj it just gives you a bad name.... ;D
