I agree with your statement about the academics. It's not the grass itself that's really the embarrassment but the condition of the field. If the grass field was able to be kept in good physical condition,. I would really have no problem with it but that hasn't been the case for several years.
We have one of those ourselves, as a matter of fact your track team, just got real familiar with the son of one of the main members of that state champion track team. Who also did a great job on the football field and basketball court this year.
