That's true....then the 3 RBs on first team , I think the most yards anyone of them had was 2000 and for Calvin not to be listed even through honorable mention, it's a shame.

I don't know for sure their website is crazy but at some point I found the schedule on there and saw 2 also saw that on maxpreps.

I looked up lamarque but when I get there and click on athletics it sends me to Texas City which I haven't found the LaMarque basketball schedule on but earlier somehow when I backed up I found it from the LaMarque site.

Ok so ours says 5 and Somewhere on their school site I saw 2 just a coup,e hours ago but I can't even follow their school site and find the schedule a second time.....

This season is all traveling..2 home games before district but those trip distances are minimal.

Where did you find that at and are you talking about Lamargue.

LaMarques schedule says 2:00 ours says TBA.

Ok both school schedules do have that College Park game on the Saturday starting at 3:30. Not sure if their is more than one game but I bet their is.

Has the time been decided for this game yet? It is listed as TBA. I also just noticed one other thing with our schedule that was a little odd. Our game with The Woodlands College Park is listed on Jan. 7th, a Saturday, at 7:30. I take it that is correct.

That one still hurts....seemed we had it won anyway and should have had the TD on that last third game that would have put it away but a slip cost us. Hats off to Carthage for that last drive and the rest of that stand tobut to me it probably wouldn't have hurt as bad if that third down play had ended on a good play by the defense but on a slip where there was plenty of space for for C to get the td.

I have said for a few years now that the key and big reason WOS has handled my Tigers so well as been the speed of the defensive line. I am somewhat surprised that teams don't watch the success of that defense and try to mimic it as best they can. The thought of putting the big majority of your best athletes on the defense and limiting the scoring of the opponent. Instead of trying to put big numbers of points on the board, keep that other team fro scoring many at all.

I wasn't there but was told by those who were no whistle heard before the buzzer but they even added one second back on the clock.

From watching this one only, we have stopped the platoon system. Now I heard we have been still doing it some and I don't know that it's gone. It may be just to keep our size out there more with these bigger schools. What it looked like to me that this did at least in this game was kind of give us a lull in the middle of the game. For whatever reason we didn't have near the defensive intensity in that 2nd and third qtr that we did in the other two. It could have been players getting a little more winded, players getting near foul trouble or maybe Coach had them lay back a little to keep those two things from happening. One thing when that pressure was on Alief struggled handling the ball. We still had trouble at the ft line and need to do a little better hitting the boards but when we get back to playing schools more our size I expect some things to get back to normal. Good experience and just what the Tigers need to see rught now early in the season.
