I have been told both ways, players will be out and that at least 3 won't. Was told that the football trip was Willie and Calvin and that they are leaving after the game. Michael I saw had a trip today.

I agree with what bullets has said as well, except for a minor thing. We didn't really move up to 4A, they just changed the 3A label to 4A. Those houston schools have dropped their numbers to our classification.

Barnes is a junior, he will be around another year.

Was told last night these two are leaving after the game and that Devon only has a bruise and may play.

Will be good to mix some of those othe players ina bit more.

Yes Devon came out early in the fourth because his knee I believe was bothering him. As far as scoring, he isn't necessarily going to score a lot. He can or will when needed but he is mainly going to get everyone involved. I for one have been looking for him to get his outside shot going but do realize that the bulk of his scoring is going to be getting to the basket and he will do tha when needed. Right now we are playing well in spurts but winning more on talent. When this team gets it all together it will be really exciting.

R they primed and ready for the district opener Friday?

I have to say and this isn't a knock towards HJ, that was to me a disappointing game from the Tigers. Hj was definitely outmatched. The Tigers just haven't quite gelled yet. We will need to get a little more focused and play a little better getting ready for the playoffs. Was good to see everyone get playing time and will be good to get some ready for when we need them.

Gym was pretty packed!

Haha might as well play it up since this will likely be the only meeting this year between the 2 rivals. By the way expect the Tigers to be without Michael McCain tonight due to his ejection Saturday.

Definitely hope so as I don't see anyone beating us in the regular season.

Not just for defense but you have 2 or 3 of the better pressure and on ball defenders in that unit. One of which is a good offensive threat as well. But much of that groups offense comes from their speed and defense, where that starting group has more of your big scoring threats. Now don't think I am knocking either group in either way, we have seen several players this year with 15 or more points and that first group does a pretty good job creating scores from defense as well.

One of those didn't play long in the first one. But yes I really don't expect too much of a game in this one but I still won't be surprised.
