We will see what kind of pitching B.C. has on 2-13-09 against Barbers Hill. I know they are scrimmages but I'am pretty sure the Eagles will be looking to swing the bat.!!!!!!

Are there any preseason games/tournaments being played in January

With all the talk about pro players signing contracts,I am ready for high school baseball. Who are going to be the leaders in 19-4a

the problem Barbers Hill is having is there is a lack of talent and coaching 1. Defense has no size or speed 2. Quaterback has David Carr syndrom not a passer/tackles easy 3. no power running back (young/unexperience) 4. Coaches running the same plays over and over 5. Offensive line not maintaining blocks It is hard to win games with a weak defense and a average offense

I see that more andmorwe at football games,the crowds are more into gossiping with old so and so than they care about the game or the plays that happen on the field.There was a time when the band would play according to the events on the field and cheerleaders also cheer when there was a reason to. Now it seem the game is just there to amuse some while others just parade around.

I agree with BHFAN,Show ME something even a little hope or spark is nice to see

I tell you what ,there are some great kids a Barbers Hill and I put all the blame on the COACHES for this game and last week for not going for it on Fourth down.

I heard Barbers Hill is at 3:30 in Pasadena and the Baytown paper also said 3:30

I saw the BH playing alot of the kids in new positions last night.Offense starting line looked good.QB's looked good. The new running backs need to work on the blocking and picking up the blitz!!!The recievers had some good catches and runs after the catch.It looked as though BH was taking a look at a lot of new kids in new positions while starters rotated in and out. Cleveland looks like they might have a good running game started. Thier runners ran hard and needed a few more blocks to spring for long gains.They picked up good chunks of yardage against BH on every running play it looked like.I liked the way Cleveland COACHES show some FIRE and EXCITEMENT. Barbers Hill looks like they were just there going through the motions and it will be alright.If the COACHES dont show emotions for the game how can all the kids get excited about playing. I know most kids bring it to the game but it sure seems good to see COACHES pump these kid up no matter WHAT...

I'm ready for some football. I think the Eagles may be taken for granted because of last year. The underclassmen have to step up which i'm sure they will.There are a lot of returning offense players Carmona,Burditt,Carter,Ponder,Peterson,Meyer,Bounds,Icet,Stelly. The JV had some good players the will have to step up and fight for a starting spot on the Varsity this year. We need to improve on the field with our Defense and offense to win a playoff spot in this new District.

The way Seven Lakes has been playing I would have say Seven Lakes win 2 out of 3.

: This will be a good matchup with both teams playing well.Barbers Hill beat Bay City first game of the season 1-0. That was along time ago and Barbers Hill better get thier bats ready to go or the Cats might claw out a win.

I pick BH 10/Huffman 3 Who has Huffman played. The district is pretty weak from what i see.
