Roughrider

First of all I would like to congratulate both teams on a hard fought game. WOS is stout and should not have any problem blowing through their district this year. Second of all I would like to give props to the Dogs for making adjustments especially late in the game to move the ball on a very good stang defense. The Nederland Defense deserves some props for making some big stops when it counted. As for the officiating, If I was a WOS fan, I could not bring myself to whine about any questionable calls since the last 30 years danny boy has made sure that 90% if the calls go your way. A loss is a loss so man up and accept it for what it is. By the way, My prediction on this game was spot on.

The truth is both teams were exposed in some areas and the coaches on both sides are looking for this to be a good building block to get ready for district. But hey, thats what this site is all about. Either people are taking certain post's personal or they are too busy kissing the moderators butts. Either way the kids will decide the game.  :P

[/quote] I thought the Dogs did well on offense.They moved the ball well using multiple formations. The defense gave up 28 points but did make some good adjustments in the second half and came up with some big stops. Dayton's offense is pretty potent. Our kicking game hurt us as stated earlier. You just can't miss extra points. Missing Pryor made a difference in the middle. Hopefully he will be back next week against WOS. Overall it was a good test for the Dogs and should help the boys prepare for for Week 0 against the Stangs.

Seriously, this will be a very good test for Nederland. They looked very good against Ball and GCM but Dayton will be a much better look. They will spread the field much more than what we seen last week. I hear we are getting X (Strong Side O Tackle) and Deshawn (Tight End) back this week.

Yea it was a three way scrimmage with Nederland, Galveston Ball, and Goose Creek Memorial. Nederland dominated both teams.
