If the Jags dont hang 50 on them then they wont make the playoffs in 20-4A. BTW, Nederland is gonna spank central this year and I want SFA 85 to come watch. I will buy his gas.
Dont you know that even our weakest teams own Nederland.  We are not Ozen.  We beat Nederland even when we're not trying to beat them.  We beat you with your gift to football Mosely played.  We beat you by 2 scores when Grogan was running the pill.  We even beat you when Butler was there.  Same thing different year.  We may even hang 63 on you like we did in 2006.  Be careful what you ask for.  Either that or find the Ozen/Nederland thread!  8) 8)
We had Central beat last year and blew it, it wont happen again. We are gonna spank Central at the dog pound this year.  ;)

Recent playoffs tend to contradict this. and what does By Default mean?
Nederland has a much better all around team this year and don't forget it took a trick play to beat us. And if we do play the kittens in the playoffs this year, they will have to come play at the Dog Pound since we played at your house last year.

 5. After watching a few series and giving it the ole eye ball test....WOS will hang about 60 on that Bridge City defense.
 6.
The future is definitely bright in Nederland.  It seemed like they called Kimler's name on every tackle last night.  Hopkins also looks good running the ball between the tackles.  Malveaux has been tough up the middle.  The JR. class is also loaded with talent and things are looking up in Bulldog land.
Freshman class has some studs coming as well. Talent comes in waves and the Dogs are on the upswing. Just watch!
 7. They are showing a shot of the Bridge City stands and there is only about 50 people in the crowd supporting the cards. What a shame. Thats what you call a fair weather fan.
 8.
I see a trend here. When I see videos like this the state it always originates from is Florida.
Or Lumberton... ;)
 9.
Neds Oline was inconsistent but showed improvement, the Dline will benefit with Pryors return....
Yes, their D line showed penetration throughout the night and we will need to shore up that situation. I like the way our offense takes what it can get. We worked the outsides last night when the middle broke down and of course we shredded their secondary. I thought our pass blocking was excellent. The defense played well for the most part but we are still giving up to many big runs. Overall i am pleased after 2 weeks of football and we are seeing some glimpses of some more young talent stepping up.
 10. GCM has some pretty explosive athletes on that team and I think they will make some noise this year. Good job by the Dogs. We still have some things to shore up on both sides of the ball before district but we should be fine. Should be a good one next week against the bump.
Not sure, but I was at the first game and he wasn't running like he did last year.
Alot of that had to do with him having huge holes to run through last year. Its not as easy when you have to work for it.

 14.
We all know that the foundation starts at home but I've always been a believer in humiliation as punishment.  That referee was humiliated while working, so, I say the Judge comes up with some type of humiliation punishment for all that were involved.  Find out where the adults are employed and get their employers involved, show them the video.  Have them stand out in front of their job with a big sign with their name/reason why on it.  The punishments are endless.  Ultimately once those punishments are met then ban them from the league, no questions asked.
No...........Prison
 15. Its simple...Prison time for any coach involved. Anything less would be a joke.

 17. I dont know much about friendswood this year but if the chain gang stacks 9 in the box like they did last night, FW will more than likely pick the secondary apart. JMO
 18. I know Brown has a concussion and the rest of them will be very sore when they get up this morning. That was a hard hitting game. Hopefully both teams rebound quickly with any injuries from this game.
 19.

First of all I would like to congratulate both teams on a hard fought game. WOS is stout and should not have any problem blowing through their district this year. Second of all I would like to give props to the Dogs for making adjustments especially late in the game to move the ball on a very good stang defense. The Nederland Defense deserves some props for making some big stops when it counted. As for the officiating, If I was a WOS fan, I could not bring myself to whine about any questionable calls since the last 30 years danny boy has made sure that 90% if the calls go your way. A loss is a loss so man up and accept it for what it is. By the way, My prediction on this game was spot on.
Dan was a great coach and I hate that he retired.  I admired his passion for the game however, I do not THINK butI KNOW that his will was not imposed on the refs.  If anything it went the other way.  Had you watched a few WOS games you would know that it is not possible for 90% of the calls to have gone the Mustang's way.  Congrats to both teams on a hard fought game....Ned as always is very disciplined and makes you pay for any mistakes.
Dream On Pal, I not only played against him, I have watched several WOS games and he lived on the hash marks ripping officials every friday. Just let it go because I promise you will lose this argument.

 21.
If Nederland couldn't cope with Dayton's speed, how are they  going to cope with WOS' speed?
hopefully its the dogs turn this year to come up with a win. 22.
Let me start off by saying that Central did everything in the book that a bad team does.  It starts off up front. Our offensive line cannot block ANYONE.  They get drove back, they get beat around the outsides, they get beat on the insides, our RB's don't know how to pick up the blitz.  Second is coaching. First play from scrimmage was a single back stretch handoff, which we gained 15 yards.  We went away from that and tried that stupid lead draw out of the shotgun.  This play didn't work at all last year and it sure in the heck won't work this year.  Old school coaching mentality at it's best.  Don't go with what works, keep trying the same crap that WON't work.  Tell me how that worked out.  On defense, we run the weakest zone I've ever seen.  We get beat on slants, we have cornerbacks that never look back for the ball.  We have horrible tackling.  We don't know how to take angles to the ball.  And when you have a blue chipper RB bursting your way, you watch him come to you only to have him put a move on you and take it to paydirt.  No one attacks the ball.  If you are being blocked by an offensive lineman and he releases on you, common sense will tell you there is a screen pass brewing.  Not us.  Also on defense, when playing a good team (PAM), you take away something.  No way they should be able to pass and run on you at will.  Take away one or the other.  Not us.  The kicker is (when down 28-0 at halftime) after halftime absolutely NO halftime adjustments were made.  NON.  We're lucky Memorial called the dogs off or the score would have been ran up.  People don't gather and go to these games to see the same braindead coaching over and over again.  Memorial did what they were supposed to do.  Beat the breaks off of a not so good team (that includes braindead coaching).  In order for us to win ball games this year and maybe even move the ball downfield will probably be to let Mitchell do it himself because he sure in the hack does not have any help.  This is not Central football by a long shot.  We're supposed to hang out hat on defense.  What I seen tonight was el maditor defense.  This is how the coach from 2004 got his butt ran out of town.  Somebody needs to get their behinds in gear and put this team in a position to be competitive at one point or another.  This is downright embarrassing and it seems like you are showing our kids that it's ok to get beat like that.  I'm off of my soapbox now.  I an only hope that we are SOMEWHAT Competitive against West Brook next week.  Unbelievable.  Un-freakin believable.  By the way, Memorial is a good team and they will make a strong case for district champs.
Hey soulja, you ever thought that maybe the jags just don't  have what it takes this year.  I highly doubt that the same set of coaches you bragged on the last few years suddenly forgot how to coach football. You know the old saying, You can't make chicken salad out of chicken sh!t.  :D
