The issue is not the level of soccer in southeast Texas. The issue is gender equity. The reinstatement of a football program ended any possibility of other men's sports being added at LU.

I believe Tic Price has already resigned from UNT. My guess is that Roc is waiting to make the announcement of both assistants at the same time.

Looks like this will be the week when we finally learn who the new coach will be. Who will Roc hire? I think Tic Price would be a great replacement.

He must be connected to one of the large donors. His credentials alone don't get me excited.

I don't know the answer to that, but it would certainly be an attractive staff to have Roc, Price, Boutte and one remaining assistant.

Another close Roc friend is Tic Price who I think is an assistant at North Texas right now. Before he got the North Texas gig he was in the Montagne for several LU home games. Price hit the big time with Memphis before personal issues knocked him down. Mcneese did him wrong, and he would make a great bench coach with great recruiting connections.

It would not surprise me if we end up with two assistant openings.

Most coaches and trainers would tell their team to work on possession of the ball without attempting to score at every opportunity. Granted, a game of keep away can also be humiliating for an overmatched team, but the score would not become ridiculous.

I personally believe that score is disgraceful. Not for WOS, but for the Lumberton coach that allowed his players to continue scoring goals. I have no connection to either team with the exception of coaching one of the Lumberton players in club soccer in the past. As a fan of the game I find this score offensive.

I will be there for all LU Men's games. I'm hoping to burn alot of gas this weekend.

We can rip the refs all we want but Roc needs to refrain from that type of statement in the future. I'm sure he regretted the comments as soon as he cooled off a bit. That being said, there is at least one ref that has called a large percentage of our home games that I believe is terrible and has no business calling anything above Little Dribblers. I don't know his name and I'm not sure if it is the same guy Roc called out but he is horrible.

If you choke in front of 200, how can you play on national tv. This could be a wasted season. I hope they understand what this sorry effort means. You guys need to chill out and give this team and coach credit for a very good season to this point. The effort was good, no great, as it has been throughout the entire season by these guys. The shots were just not falling today. Southeast is not a terrible team and will likely be the 4th seed in the tournament when the dust settles tonight. I would not be shocked at all if they upset SFA in the semifinal game. We may see them again next Sunday. Now our guys need to regroup and prepare to kick butt in the conference tournament. Congratulations on a conference Championship to Roc and the Cards.

How tall is he? What is his natural position? What would be his projected position in D1 college basketball? How about his stats? We certainly need a shooter to replace d-hop and CT especially if Barrow is gone.

Does anybody have more information on Ybarra? I know he put up big numbers at Barbers Hill, but don't know anything else about him. Last night was a great night for recruits to be at the Montagne. The crowd wasn't overwhelming, but very enthusiastic. Those recruits also had a chance to see a coach that really cares about his players to a point that he was overcome with emotion after the game.
