    Miami @ #8 Oklahoma

    #22 TCU @ #4 Texas  Texas wins b/c of the ground game this week...TCU's 4-2-5 is hell on the passing attack, but the Longhorns prevail in a tight one

    #20 Nebraska @ Wake Forest... Wake let me down last week, killing my perfect predictions, so i hope the overrated cornhuskers beat them by 30

    #24 Boise State @ Washington...this game will be closer than expected, but Boise State just finds a way to win

    Fresno State @ #25 Texas A&M...Fresno sucks

    South Carolina @ #13 Georgia...Too much D for the gamecocks.. Georgia by 10

    #9 Virginia Tech @ #2 LSU..VT is vastly overrated, much like Michigan..LSU at home by 21

    South Florida @ #18 Auburn...Auburn by 10...

    North Carolina @ East Carolina...?

    North Texas @ SMU..Based on the Tech, and OU games, SMU has way better athletes than NT...this will be ugly again for the not so mean green...

    Red Sox: Manager Terry Francona has so far declined to announce Friday's Game 2 probable starter, but did say the team might wait until Thursday before making a decision. Local media have been reporting all week that the team could call on Pawtucket phenom Clay Buchholz to make his Major League debut against the Angels. That, or calling up a different minor leaguer to make a spot start, would require some roster maneuvering. Another option on the active roster is Julian Tavarez, who despite throwing 1 2/3 innings on Wednesday has always been willing to pitch when asked, regardless of rest.

    Tech baseball will be back where it belongs in a short while, props to Coach Myers getting the job done and thanks to Larry, for taking a back seat....

    the only bad news is that my former teammate Brandon Roberson was let go to make room for Darren Hays as the Director of Baseball Operations (bogus title and pay for anyone, but now especially bogus to pay Darren)

    Based on some of my experiences, these are my favorites in Texas

    Lamar University-when the Regional is on the line between 2 teams from the same district, this place is awesome.  

    Lufkin-Great playing surface, but not a lot of room for fans...

    Astrodome-just getting an opportunity to play there was great...especially getting a win..

    Minute Maid Park-Getting to dress in the astros locker room was cool, especially getting to "leave" with some MLB stuff...people were extremely helpful and riding an elevator with Craig Biggio was a surprise..

    U of H-great ballpark and its pretty neat to hit bombs into the McDonalds parking lot

    TCU-great renovations, but i loved it when the centerfield wall was a concrete ramp...CF has to have balls to go all out onto that thing

    Olsen-great playing surface and always clean..

    Disch-too large for high school games....if that fence was a little shorter in center i woulda had a bomb ;)

    Dan Law- great hitters ballpark...Pitchers ERA averages a run higher

    Baylor-very nice field and even nice facade

    As a Tech alum, I would love for the Red Raiders to land this guy...

    I understand that his father played for tech in the early 80's....

    I've seen his clips on rivals.com and he looks good....especially with that size and speed...

    I really believe that he will be a 3 star ranking from rivals, maybe 4...

    Yes he needs more hype!!! Its funny that he has offers from major DI programs yet people on this board are asking what his number is.....

    maybe it has something to do with where he goes to school and the coaches not whoring him out....maybe trying to keep him focused ...I don't know, maybe im reaching
