  1. REALLY NOW??? So it all of a sudden pouring down rain didn't have anything to do with it? And by the way didn't they hit off of all your pitchers. WOW!!! BC definitely would not have come back It poured down several times during the game, and didn't we hit off all your pitchers too??? You bet we did and came back from being down 8-1 didn't we, so we definitely would not have came back from that? But your AD is trying to be sure we don't cuz he's
  2. Funny thing is, the rain and lightning had been going on all game, but as soon as HF gets ahead again, OH, game is called, imagine that................and no one's mad because we weren't ahead, we had come back all night to go ahead so that didn't scare anybody, but apparently it did your AD, he had to call it then so you could hopefully win, lol.
  3. I do have to agree that a runner that does not take off running, regardless of where the ball is, is something that would make most coaches livid and almost have a coronary! Not sure where the runner's heads were if they didn't run numerous times. And I guess I just like good defensive baseball plays, and a double play is one of the most exciting to see executed, but not one like the dropped fly on purpose to get the double. Just doesn't seem like a good play to me.
  4. It might be the play of the game too you, But for me it shows a complete disrespect for the game of Baseball !!!!!!!! If a team is good, the double plays are made honestly, not by dropping a pop-up on purpose to get a double play..............that's pretty lame for a high school team to do. And to think someone thinks that's the play of the game? Wow. Just to straighten things out.... THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST IGNORANT THING I HAVE EVER SEEN ONE SETX. Have you ever played baseball???? ALWAYS run down the line full speed no matter what, even when you know you are going to get beat to the bag. You need to spend the next 2 weeks inside of your house alone in the dark concentrating on the sports channel so you can learn about baseball and so you don't infect any innocent civillians with your stupidity at the same time. Back to the point, (not to get on the runner from the other night) I know that any coach worth 2 cents would run the crap their baseball team if anyone didn't even attempt to run down the line, he walked ten steps. That was an awesome play, I give props to Lalonde for thinking ahead and thinking about what he needs to do. That is NOT disrespect for the game of Baseball that is playing it and playing it well. By the way the double play was the PLAY OF THE GAME. Awesome play and PLAY OF THE GAME? If that is what you think of a infielder purposely dropping a pop fly in order to get a double play, then you apparently are not a baseball player because that play could be done lots of times in most games, but it's not..................can you even begin to guess why most players wouldn't do that?

  6. ok jus cuz ya'll won this district dont think ya'll cant be stopped.. im glad ya'll are good at a sport but dont get cocky cuz the second ya'll do its OVER Says the guy who hasn't won a district game! thats cute.. but this team who hasn't won a district game gave ya'll a scare in that first game that ya'll won by what? 1 run? do you think having inconsitencies like that is gonna win it all? i dont think so, thanks for helping me prove my point though.. Does it matter how much BC won by....................don't think so, the record speaks for itself. But don't be so down on BC, your team has the same numbers the Cards do, just reversed! CARDINALS 21-3A DISTRICT CHAMPS! Congrats guys!
  7. I think BC has several, but am not sure exactly who other than Matt Menard and Cameron Dishon. Was just wondering if that was the reason that the games would not be played today due to the incoming weather. And congrats to Pinder........and good luck in the finals!
  8. Are there alot of players competing in the district track meet today?
  9. Coop, would you please change that forecast! 3-5 inches of rain starting tomorrow??????? Looks like 21-3a will be playing 3 games next week. Know it's early, but what does the extended forecast look like for next week?
  10. Wow, that was a very intelligent post! You must be one of the one's getting tossed or throwing temper tantrums for HF..............and the saying, if you lay with dogs you are gonna get fleas .......................the few make the whole team look bad.
  11. Hate to hear this about Trae! I know he'll come back stronger than ever next year! Keep your head up and best wishes for a speedy recovery from your friends in Bridge City!
  12. Congrats Mustangs! Sounds like it was a good game! Now the finish gets very interesting!
  13. Stop crying????? And all teams play in big games without mouthing and getting ejected, it's baseball. It's also baseball with every team getting bad calls by the umps, but players need to be taught to have enough class to keep their mouths shut and let the coach argue the call and the fans torment the ump.
  14. I don't know these kids..............but if a team has had a player ejected in two games, might be a discipline problem. AND Coach Landry is OUR coach now, we are 6-0 and have not had any discipline problems or ejections in any games.
  15. You are right.................great play by the leftfielder to get the out at home! And I couldn't agree with you more and this should apply to all players..............be disciplined enough to keep your mouth shut to umpires, let the coach scream and yell, kick dirt, whatever he chooses to do and if he gets kicked out, then the team is not directly affected. As a parent and spectator, it gives a bad impression of a mouthy player and then that directly reflects on the whole team. Games get emotional, but guys and girls, have enough respect for your coach to know he will argue the bad call or whatever. Congrats on the win BC and good luck HF with OF.
  16. Wow.................yes, it was a close call in that case. So if the ump had not of called it that way, the runner gets hit, is the runner awarded another base by getting hit, or just gets to first? Good game for both teams.
  17. Oh okay. From where we were sitting I couldn't tell what happened or who the ump was ejecting. Do you know about the call on the runner? I have never seen that before tonight.
  18. I have two questions concerning the game tonight. Third strike dropped by catcher, runner takes off to first, catcher throws ball to first and hits the runner in back and the runner was called out. So, the runner cannot run down the baseline to first.................I am really confused on what happened and where the runner should have been running. What happened with the player being ejected from the game and was this the player that got hit in the back while running to first. ???
  19. I am a member of the team, and I rely on the team, I defer to it and sacrifice for it, because the team, not the individual, is the ultimate champion. Pain is weakness leaving the body.
  20. Rhodes in BC made some exceptional catches his sophmore year, then didn't get the ball thrown to him very much last year due to a qb change, but he is good and will do whatever it takes to make the catch and get yards!
