OK I have to say it just because YOU walked right into it and a PUNN Like This only comes around Once in a Lifetime.  But before I do just Know that I have the utmost respect for BC and for their players. They Play hard and will always be there at the end. Now that being said! Remember this is a joke. Supposed to be funny. BC may Have The Cannon..... BUT They don't have the cannonBalls.
I sure did walk right into that one!  Will have to put more thought into how I post next time, lol!

 3. I stand corrected.  Let me say then that it could be an advantage if the cards are not considered one of the top five teams.  I thinks it way too early to really know at this point who the top 5 teams are.  But in 21-3a, the competition will be fierce, but I think the Cardinals will still be the team to be beat to get the title.  It's gonna be a good year for baseball and good close games.  Just hope the kids on all the area teams stay injury free and have an outstanding season................it is going to be fun to be a fan!
 4. It is probably to the Cards advantage that some people are counting them out...............I do believe last year at the beginning of the season much of the same thing was said and we all know how far they went in the playoffs.  I think the team will be fine, there are always little kinks to work out, but hats off to Coach Landry for not playing push over teams just to make the win/lose record look good.  If you play good teams, you only get better when the real records count.  I think the young pitching staff the Cards have will only get better and will be a big factor in the games that really matter.  Keep up the hard work guys, and stay focused on where you want to end up.  That being said, Lumberton has a good team and congrats to them on the win.
 5. Thanks Catt 22!  Orangefield seems to have it all together even though it's early in the season.  Good luck in the tournament!
 6. What the heck is going on with BC?  Sounds like no one is hitting the ball and that the dogs are pounding it by the looks of the score!
 7. Luke Rhodes - Bridge City Outfielder Batting average 363 3 hr fielding % - 1000 Wt. 185 Ht. 5'11" This off of Max Preps so I assume it is correct!
 8.
My son has caught Matt in spring select, fall select and lessons for the last 4 years. Says he is one of the few pitchers that he can actually start 8-10in’s out of the zone, work it until he gets the call and live there. Matts work ethic is incredible. He possesses a lot of the “uncoachable”  qualities majority of ballplayers nowadays just don’t have. Hustle, Heart and a TRUE passion for the game! If there is one HS player I want my son/sons to emulate, its Matt Hicks. Congrats Buddy!!
Ditto to above.  Matt is an exceptional kid on and off the field and has lived and breathed baseball since he was a little boy.................and he had the same work ethic at 6 years old as he does now.  Great kid and proud that my son has and will have the opportunity to play with him another year!

Is that the only seniors they have on the team.
I believe that every member of the 18U Sundevil roster from this summer have signed or are expected to sign with a college or university. There are several who will also have to consider their options following th MLB Draft. It is an impressive list. If I am able, I will compile that list later.
WOW!  That is exceptional!
 10.
Info on BC freshman pitcher....looked real good against LCM...........
Who is the freshman pitcher?
 11. I may be wrong but I think Trae Hester played for the Sundevils and signed with Lamar.
 12. ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)
and for longhorn1951 who are you??? your probably some stupid little girl just running your mouth and crying just like all those bc fans last year when hf rocked there pretty boy pitcher over 407 along with every other pitcher......hf will be fine this year..they always find a way to win they have a great coach that will build the team up to where they need to be for district when it really counts.
13. You know I have read and re-read all this "We are so great, we beat you" from Cleveland posters that I had to get this off my chest once and for all. 1.  You beat Bridge City - no one disputes that which was the 3rd place team from the district.  Great.  But Bridge City hung with you the first half until the wheels fell off in the 2nd half, partly to Cleveland stepping it up and BC having a total meltdown.  Again, great. 2.  I honestly think if you talked to anybody from BC, they would tell you they were very happy to have made the playoffs, and I don't think they expected to go far, but nonetheless the players and fans were proud to be there and yes, it would've been great to have won, but getting there was the best part due to several things. 3.  The previous year - and I could be wrong on the exact # - but I would say 99% of the boys on that football team lost everything they had to Hurricane Ike, but they did win a couple of games despite the shortened schedule and were dang glad to be on the football field, win or lose. 4.  The year before that, most of these same boys went 0-10. So all the smack talk about how good you are because you beat a 21AAA team is really something.  Beat some of the big dogs before you start bragging about how good your team is.................................and know this, yeah you beat a 21AAA team, (again 3rd place team) but I'd bet my paycheck you wouldn't come close to beating Silsbee and I seriously don't think you would have beaten WOS even though they had a year that was down by their standards.  So gloat on if you must, but the fat lady is gonna sing for you soon I think.
 14. Way to go Silsbee Tigers!!!!  Keep on rollin!  We're pulling for you from BC................please stomp everyone in your path and shut up the Cleveland and Coldspring wannabes who are doing a good job of running their mouths right now!  21AAA all the way baby!  Good luck against Navasota!
 15. Congrats Matt!  Awesome kid and even more awesome baseball player!  Thanks for the years of seeing the amazing plays, the incredible pitching and the smile you always have when complimented!  Good luck and I know we'll see you in the big leagues in a few years!
 16.

will not run over them boy's from Cleveland JMO
every time he runs someone over and gets by someone i hope he's saying "im only a sophmore, want some more?"
If he's the same RB we scrimmaged, then I didn't see him run over anyone. He looked more a juker than a trucker. JMO
Not sure what team you played for that scrimmaged BC, but Menard has ran over, thru and drug alot of opponents.  He definately isn't a juker.....................
 17. I think BC's defense can hang with most teams and I don't think Cleveland is an exception.  We've seen speed all year long, so that won't be a surprise.  If a couple of players from Cleveland can be contained, it will be a close game.  Hopefully the offense will pound it out with Menard and throw in some pass plays to the sidelines and we will have a ballgame!  These kids have a never give up attitude and that will be to their advantage come Friday night.  Good Luck Cardinals and give Cleveland your best shot!
 18. So you are saying this one player can handle our O-line.................I really don't see it.  I think the coaches will make the necessary adjustments to deal with this player and BC will surprise some of the people who are sure Cleveland will run away with this one.  I believe this will be a close game, and hopefully BC's offense steps it up and comes out the winner.
 19. Prayers from Bridge City for a speedy recovery for this young man!
 20. ???So who is correct here?  I am trying to figure out who BC will play with a win Friday night..........
