  1. Congrats to WOS. They had some really good performances. I really think they should change how the relays are scored.  They should not be counted as double. It allows teams to just stack two races and win the entire meet.
  2. [url=[Hidden Content]] This should give live results. Looks like WOS qualified with the fastest time in 4x100 and 4x200.
  3. He was also named Southland Indoor Student-Athlete of the year. [url=[Hidden Content]]

Kirby Shepherd           BC       1:59.99 [/quote] Kinda brutal to break 2 and lose by that little of time. I'm not sure how the region stacks up, but they should definitely be in position for the 2 spots for state.
  5. Floyd just got hired at UTEP. [url=[Hidden Content]]

Walkow, a native of Surrey, British Columbia, will represent Canada in the race. Walkow has enjoyed a stellar freshman season for Lamar; earning Southland Conference Freshman of the Year Award for women's cross country and earned all-conference honors after finishing fourth in the Southland Conference Championships. After the Lamar cross country season, Walkow placed ninth in the women's junior race at the Canadian Cross Country Championships. "This is an incredible experience for Sam," Lamar cross country coach Jake Stewart said. "Everyone associated with Lamar University track and cross county is so proud and excited for Sam. Running in this meet is a great testament to the hard work and improvement she's made over the last seven months." LAMAR [/quote]
  7. They killed everybody the year that they were 3A and only had freshman on the team I think. Also, they had one of the lowest totals ever. Lowest score wins a cross meet .
  8. I think Ybarra transferred to Texas St...not sure if hes playing there though.
  9. Man it was packed on campus today. It seemed like there was twice as many people as last year. There is definitely a growth from last year.
  10. [Hidden Content] First home game at the new place is supposed to be Sep. 25, so there is still some time.
  11. This man is just amazing. 19.19 another new world record.
  12. I think sub 19 is possible, but I don't think its going to happen this year. I think 19.1 or 19.2 will happen though. Gay did all he could but Bolt is on a different level right now.
  13. He ran a 9.58!!!! Just amazing. Tyson Gay was 2nd with a 9.71.
  14. Cameron LaCour finished 3rd in the 110m Hurdles. [Hidden Content] A'Lexus Brannon finished 2nd in the 100m Hurdles. [Hidden Content] Congrats to both!
  15. Trey Franks qualified for the next round of the 100m running a 10.50, Cameron LaCour ran 11.49 and finished last in his heat. [Hidden Content] A'Lexus Brannon finished 5th in the triple jump. [Hidden Content]
  16. Anybody hear Coach Woodard talk? [Hidden Content]
  17. A'Lexus didn't qualify for the finals in the triple jump. Her best jump was 12.10m(39'8'').
  18. I have a great deal respect for the soccer players. To be able to run for that long and get hit/tackled while doing it, and be able to pass/shoot is awesome. They may not have 4.2-4.4 speed, but neither does anybody else after running around for 75 mins. I would love to see these 4.4 guys line up and run 40 after 40 for an hour and a half with no water breaks. The U.S. is starting to make progress towards being one of the better teams in the world. Things do not just happen overnight. I'm already looking forward to the World Cup.
  19. I think that could have just signaled game over.
  20. It's on ESPN right now. 2nd half just starting.
