Need to rename this game the Old River Ambush.....shootout would imply real bullets in the guns of both sides.  Instead BH brought red-riders.  

Dayton defensive touchdown right after a safety negated by offsides.  40-0 late 3rd.  I guess I heard this right but it's 40-0 and Dayton has had 2 touchdowns called back.  I think BH has been watching the Dayton Crosby game from last year because they fumbled again on the kickoff and Baldwin with a 6 yard TD.  I can't even get my posts out....jesus 47-0.

Guess Lee won't be running wild through 4A like we heard all offseason

So I've been out of it for awhile I guess....BH got some big name coach from Lewisville or something right?  Now I hear the radio and they're in the wishbone and the wingbone?  Nice job BH....hire a guy who's had the game pass him by.  Did you take notes on the PNG firing of Burnett??  Pre-historic offenses don't win football games.  Woops another BH turnover.

Wait a second...so I haven't heard any of the first half but I see posters saying a few coaching mistakes by BH o/w it would be a close game.  So then I hear the first half stats....289 yards of offense for Dayton versus 2 first downs for BH.  That's not exactly what I would call a "closely" contested game.  Sounds more like Dayton turnovers are keeping this game closer than it actually should be.

It's called a rivalry game....probably going to be some "extra" activity.

Why is it that Cleveland always seems to inspire the words TRAIN WRECK regardless of if it's Indians or Browns??

[/quote] TFND, TFND - Tivy Fight Never Dies....ok it's a ridiculous motto but whatever.  That was a heated game last year and we talked a bunch of smack in this forum.  I don't recall them playing dirty or talking any more/less junk on the field.  There was a lot of name-calling after the game from their side but I associated it more with crybabies than anything else.  I do remember the scuffle on the way into halftime but wasn't aware and really didn't care what caused it. As for their team, you pretty much got a sneak preview.  They run basically the same offense as Dayton with about the same size of players.  Their defense is suspect and can be had.  QB is good and a dual threat.  They are not as fast as the teams you've already played but they are tough to tackle.

Go ahead and run him outta town and see how quickly he is gobbled up by a first rate program! ;) [/quote] OMG, what is there to say about this: #1 - It's the announcer's job to call the game and not offer opinions or critiques of the coaching staff in game. #2 - What paper is there that has the time to call him out after 14 straight playoff appearances, 4 quarterfinals, 2 semi-finals, and 1 state final?  You may not agree with every in-game decision but look at the results.  Do you remember the state of the program BEFORE STEWART.  There's a reason we don't end our posts with HONOR, PRIDE, TRADITION because we can't...there was no tradition, honor, or pride BEFORE STEWART.  Not meaning that as a knock to PNG but an example because you have the history. #3 - Everyone likes to Monday morning quarterback but do we really have any idea what's going on with these kids or in that locker room??  The answer is no, so I just look at results....hmmmm....you know someone that could do better???  See the fiasco that is Notre Dame Football.... #4 - I know it's an emotional loss here at the end of the season and I'm sure the goal is the State Championship but compose yourself and think before you speak.  Did I want to win - yes; did I think we had that game and let it slip away - yes, until I found out about the injuries and goes to show how much Tony Hill means to this team; the QB is not the problem....I'd like to have Joe Montana coming through the program every year but c'mon - that doesn't happen in High School!!!! #5 - The powers that be (season ticket holders, school board, former players) know what kind of coach we have in Coach Stewart and I only hope that we won't let him get away.  No one is going to run him out of town....we're actually hoping he finishes that house before any other schools come knocking.... ;).  Don't worry about that part Badndn #6 - Proves that every town has .... what's a word that I can use so I won't get banned from the site .... less than smart football fans. #7 - It's been another fun year with all the good natured smack-talk in support of our teams so thank you SETX Sports for hosting this forum.

Congrats to Brenham....most everyone has said everything there is to be said and Brenham truly took advantage of the mistakes at the end.  Didn't close this one out like we should've but Brenham's D-Line was absolutely outstanding and caused problems all night.  Another great season and it's off to the basement until next football season. Good luck to Brenham the rest of the way Great season Broncos....you guys make me proud every year. PS - All the fans are welcome at the games....belligerent or not.  I'd like us to show better but everyone has what they have....there are belligerent fans everywhere; I'd rather have fans that are into the game and know what in the heck they are watching but however you support is fine with me.  It's not ok to throw food though.
