Jags are not this bad and FW is not this good...but turnovers will kill ya.

Friendswood came to play today....doesn't look like the Jags brought the same intensity.

Friendswood loves those gadget plays.  You can really bust them if you stay at home.

I can't get any updates yet on the Angleton/Brenham game.  Trying to find out who/where we'll play the next game.

Yea Number 5's really late cheap shot on 20 or 30 (couldn't see the number) should've been called.  Ploch got a couple of bad spots there in the second half but the refs overall were pretty stellar.  Still though the PI was a no call.  A lot of jawing in this game from both sides....that late hit by #5 was obvious retaliation and he got away with it but honestly is that all you got on a defenseless receiver who's darn near walking back to the huddle?

Heck yea it was....I had a bad feeling about this game earlier today but it turned out to be wrong.

Their defense was pretty stout....don't usually run into teams that are as athletic as we are but they were....well almost anyway.  Yea one dimensional for sure....and the pass interference....cmon man that's a no call in my book on a jump ball but whatever.

It did get that linebacker outside on the slot guy and that's when the running game starting rolling.

Haha....it worked pretty well when we threw it to AJ Dugat!!!

Having one less day certainly showed in the first quarter.  Looked a little lethargic on defense letting them bust the two big plays early.  The defense came back to normal after that and El Campo couldn't get anything going.  Their defense played really well and their special teams had us pinned back most of the night and them starting around the 40 on every drive.  Missed some big plays on some uncharacteristic bad throws but made some really good throws as well.  In the end, too many weapons for the Dayton offense.  El Campo really limited the big play and they played a heck of a defensive game but the Broncos really dominated the second half and the 4th quarter.  The O-line really started to play in the second half.  Survive and advance.

Fire that defense up.  That front three is absolutely key to the defense and they've played their butts off this year.
