Can't wait to see the Houston media posts about this freakn'game! Hey Jags sorry you guys came up short. I sure was pulln'for ya! I think FW has a new respect for the Golden Triangle now. Friendswood won't even make a pimple on a dogs ^%& in this game, LT by many and plenty.

Congrats Broncs! It's about time you guys started hitting! Best game ya'll have played all year and the hardest hitting game all year. Can't believe that Brenham QB kept getting up after those hits, tough kid. Those Washington brothers sure were fast, that's about it.

After watching LT against Dayton last year I was impressed with how many kids and the talent level of each kid that they had. I don't even think the waterboy had to go two ways. LT SHOULD have been beat last year by HP in the state final game, they were SO beat, but pulled out a win. I know this goes for any team but until you have seen LT play you will understand why they are the best team in 4A hands down. They are on the next level. Watch out 5A they are headed your way and I'm sure they will find another Gilbert in their program.

Have you not been paying attention to the picks all year? They are freakishly almost always on the money. ;D

Don't forget the great late Ricky Eggleston who went on to set many school records at Sam Houston State University. There were other great tight-ends and receivers that had come through as well but Dayton had always been a run oriented team in the past. Not to take anything away from the QB's that played in my era but the crop of QB's have been really good over the last 10 yrs.

Come on now Dayton made the playoffs 11 times in the schools history with a record of 6-9-1 over a 63 year period. That is 7 playoff years with a record of 2-7 Dayton was 9-41 the five years before Stewart got here. We were a terrible football program going nowhere. 13 playoff seasons in a row with a record of 14-12. Like any of these names would ever happen in Dayton. All in fun. Smitty needs a statue.

Either way they're gonna'score. I'd be happy with just having a kicker. ;D

Have no problem with Smitty being on the stadium. I was lucky enough to have played back when Smitty was one of our trainer's. He was a special human being and cared for every guy that came through that locker room.

How about "Blackie Graves Memorial Stadium"

Yeah, we can put some cables up above the field like in the NFL and strap Toups to the cables. The only thing he'd have to worry about is an errant kick or pass. Wear a helmet next time!

Didn't Angleton give Friendswood their only loss? Not that it means anything but it would be something to look at.

I've noticed a pattern in the last several games in that the Broncos come out flat and then they get it rolling. Don't see anything changing in this one. Dayton will have some turkey on the stomach in the first part of this game and once it burn's off they'll get it going.

Whoever said "speed" wins was correct. I don't think Elgin has ever seen speed like what happened lastnight. Dayton was just way to fast and running outside wasn't going to happen. I think that was the smallest (size wise) team Dayton has ever played. C'mon D we're going to have to plug that middle if we're going to win the big one.

I think thats the last we'll hear from Elgin. Game wasn't even close.

For me it was the block on special teams in the Dayton v Waller game last year in the playoffs. Go to youtube.com and type in big hit at this game. How the kid got up I have no idea.

I would stay away from IH-10 because of the construction. Take 105 all the way and when you come into Conroe take the loop 336 all the way around town and after you cross IH-45 keep going and you'll see Longmire road on your left. It brings you right into the stadium and you won't have to deal with all of the traffic coming off of 45 and the main drag of 105.

Where was the big 40+ point blowout? Everyone thought I was crazy on the prediction thread when I was picking Livingston. A couple different plays late in the game and it would have been a different outcome. Dayton is a good team but the looking forward to the state championship game is going to catch them one night. Best of luck Dayton and congrats to Livingston on a great year. HaHa, I really don't recall stating that Dayton would win by a blowout. When it comes playoff time I just want the team I'm supporting to win. I would rather see a game like lastnight than see a blowout. I fear a running team more than I do a passing team. I know it should be the other way around but there are so many other variables that come into play when passing. Lastnight is why. Livingston controlled the clock all night. The worst thing they did is score because that gave the ball back to Dayton. Livingston's defense other than the first series of the game was atrocious, Dayton scored at will. DAYTON HAS GOT TO FIND A KICKER!

The only thing I see for the opposing teams throughout the playoffs is if it's a shootout Dayton's more than likely going to come out on top. Even though the running game ate up the clock lastnight Dayton's defense was good enough to make at least one stop which went in favor of Dayton. Everytime Dayton had the ball they were going to score. What's the story on Elgin?

The linebackers were hanging on to #44 as he gained 7 yards on every run. Heard he was fixing to start charging them guys for the rides. Was waiting for someone to knock that kids legs off but they kept hitting him up high and he was taking them to the bank.

Livingstons plan almost worked. They controlled the clock tonight. Dayton's offense was just to much in this one. Wasn't much defense on either side but Dayton had a key stop there at the end of the game. Going to be interesting the rest of the way.

Stay away from IH-10. Go down Hwy 90 to Dayton and the stadium is at the intersection of Hwy 146 and Hwy 90 behind the RaceWay gas station. You can see the stadium from Hwy 90.
