No disgust on the Lumberton side. We respect Dayton and think they have a great program. However, Dayton's only district loss in their brief stay in the golden triangle district was at the hands of the Raiders. This has not set well with some of the Bronco faithful and they seem to be set on seeking some type of spiteful revenge. Dayton has had a successful program for years. We are trying to establish a program. We DO NOT fear you, but we do respect you.

As a Lumberton fan, I would like to apologize for a "few" idiots. We all have them. Our's seems to stand out more than others. Injuries happen in football. It is a violent game. Hopefully Beard will be OK and make a full recovery. PNG has always had a standup program and displayed good sportsmanship. Most of us from Lumberton understand the nature of the game and hold no ill will towards PNG's players and coaches for a hard fought game.

In reality, all we need to do is finish above Livingston for playoff seeding. Since Livingston & Lumberton are the two schools that will be going to Division 2.

Based on Coops' post pertaining to the playoff scenarios, Lumberton, Central, and Livingston are in. The loser of the Vidor-Nederland game is out. So, I would say it is the MOST important game in 20-4A this year.

I agree with you badndn. #2 is a beast for the Bulldogs. But what I got from the PNG vs Lumberton game is Lumberton has no pass defense. This spells a lot of trouble for the Train. By-the-way is #49 for Lumberton going to be able to play anymore this year? It look like he hurt himself pretty bad. He is one of the best linebackers in our district this year. Livingston will win district Central Second Nederland Third Lumberton Fourth Just to touch on a few things...I'm not gripinig about your predictions on who wins district, but Lumberton's pass D isn't as bad as some people may think. They bend but don't break in most cases. Yes, we gave up a few plays to pNG...the td pass to #19 was a result of #19 from PNG being a lot taller and out jumping our corner. It was good coverage. He just had the upperhand due to size. It was also a very good throw by Tatum. Some of the other completions were do to the seconday playing too deep and too far off of the ball leaving too much space for the receivers to get open. Tatum isn't a bad QB either in my opinion, if he has time he can pick U apart. As long as we can get pressure on Bellow consistently which I think we can, we'll be alright. #49 is still a ? for the Ned. game...don't know yet. Maybe it will be a surprise for Big Ned. Central wins big. Livingston's defense CAN NOT stand up to a power running game with crisp blocking and good technique. If Central's defense plays Livingston like Lumberton's defense played Livingston, Central and Ozen, They will win big. Containing Livingston's speed is the key. KEEP EVERYTHING IN FRONT OF YOU and your front four has to be very disciplined and play with alot of intensity.
