Is it true that they are playing this game IN Hemphill? If so, that is not a wise thing. Really not a good thing for Hardin, if true.

Now, now, let's not continue to throw stones. Here's the facts: EC is in the playoffs and they rightly deserve that. Kountze did beat EC fair and square. Kountze has a reason to be proud and so does EC, yet for different reasons. As for lionheart, he's a little overly openminded in his topics and there is a slight bit of restraint needed (Down boy). But for you to say he did not contribute to the win that night is a lack of knowledge on your behalf. Though he may have not stepped on that field in uniform, he has been a consistant encouragement to his teammates all year. And for people to say he BooHoos about his injury is a stab to the heart. This is his senior year. Every game it crushed him that he couldn't be on that field with his brothers, but he continued to be apart of that team. So, is he a little overstated on some issues...yes (Chill a little, LH) But he does have the heart of a lion...I'm proud of you, LH. Good luck EC.

I don't know about "Coach of the year", but Coach Hodges at Kountze has done a wonderful job turning the Kountze Football program around. I personally think we have seen a lot of "underdog" teams improve this year compared to past years. Congrats to all of you.

Hey Lionheart, Much luv to you my brother. I think it's time to take a step back and bow out gracefully from this topic. The best thing to focus on right now is making the rest of your Senior year a great one. Do this by encouraging your brothers and pushing toward your dreams. Life is really just about to begin for you and all your friends. Take the positive things that have occured this year with you and your peers and make a memory that will last a lifetime. I personally wish you all the best that life has to offer, and my prayers are with you and your Senior class as you step out into this great big world. We are very proud of our Lions; players and coaches. Your motivation for your team (even while injured) was a greater asset than you will ever know. Take that with you even after you graduate and use it to lift people up in the game of life. Remember, TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAMWORK.

In all reality, I can't say what Deweyville will do or not do. I only know of what their record and stats are showing this year. Yes, they seemed to stay fairly close to their opponents each game, but I think they will face a different team than they have faced all year, tonight. First, the Kountze defense is a wall of red iron. They haven't given up much rushing yards all year, improving every game. And I hope the pirate's QB can take a lick. The Lion's DE are brutal. If Deweyville can throw the ball, then they might slide a couple of plays past the Lions. I don't see them scoring much. Second, when our lions run the ball, you never know which way they're going. And if they're coming up the gut, you better have 2 or 3 waiting. Like a train, baby, like a train. And they're passing game has improved all year. They really need to make a statement tonight if they are headed to the playoffs. Finally, In my personal opinion, the Kountze Lions will win tonight. As far as a prediction of score.... Kountze 41 Deweyville 17 Go Lions! PS... TT or no TT, East Chambers is a tough team. But my cheers will be for Hardin...Go Hornets!
