What are you talking about? Hall was at RB all hear... :-\ I was at the PNG vs Central game last year and Stowers had Hall playing WR the entire first half. It wasnt until at some point in the 3rd Qtr that Hall lined up at RB. It wasnt a suprise that Central started putting up some points after that. I feel like Lee Corso.."Not so fast there Bucko," Hall scored a TD in the 1st quarter at RB (I think he had two for the game)...and he played that position all season long...He was an H-Back...Hybrid dude...WR-slash-RB-slash-QB-DB. Maybe it was too much for him or as I already know...he was more concerned with other things! Hall was apart of the reason for our sluggish play! He's a great young man who didn't "Git R Dun!"

Our D plays multiple fronts...Coach used his "nickle D" against WB and PA b/c of the spread! Against a power running team like GBall expect to see 4 man fronts with 8 or 9 in the box! Since Stowers arrival our D has been one of the best in the area...minus last season when he was an Offensive Coach...now he's running his stuff and running it well! Them other dudes are gone...for whatever reason...he's here now and we better hope we can keep him! CM was kept 80yds under his average for the season...I like what we've got! The kids love it too! We just have to keep up the effort and maybe get a couple more horses out. They held out a couple of DL for discipline issues! One of which is a big run stopper!

This year's game will be a strong match up...however...just to keep it real 06 (35-0, correct me on the score, if I'm wrong) y'all were dominated vs 07 were you got us but we were close!

Have the Jags got enough offense to score that much? Give me some scenarios. Ball has also some decent rb's. But if Central can hold off the pass rush I say they can keep it close. Was West Brooks defense that stout or the Jags that weak? I'm just going by what I saw in the scrimmage LM was able to run on the Jags #1 defense. LM's #1 defense held the Jags #1 offense in check (shut out).The only bright spot in the LM/Jag scrimmage was the JV which Central dominated,but LM's best underclassmen are Varsity. LM will be a beast in two yrs. By the looks of things the Jags still have not been able to stop the run and Ball is all about running it down your throat. The Jags "O" line might be over matched. I just hope the storm doesn't cancel this game. I have not seen Ball play this year or in a while. I have a contact that lives in that area and I trust his analysis on Ball. Brook? You can move the ball on Brook's defense but they will stiffen up in the red zone. Put it like this. If your team turns the ball over, Brooks offense is so good, if you give them any good starting field position, they will make you pay. The score was close in the first half and we started turning the ball over. Our offense is not weak and our defense is impressing me. But Ball High does not have the #1 running back in the state like Brook does. Like I said, this will be a good game, man. Crush, you're killing me with these comments! The Jags #1 Offense scored twice on LM #1 D...and in the quarter neither team scored and the Jags had one posession while LM had two. The Jags scored on the ground and through the air and like Soulja said we are getting better each and everyday. It's hard to judge a team from a scrimmage b/c both teams keep it real vanilla...I know the Jags just lost to a good team in Brook; how good is yet to be determind. I think that GBall will be very tough. This was a big rivalry game that was taken off the schedule a while back for various reasons. It should be a lot of smash mouth football and it should fit us well! They are big, fast, and strong...oOh, I am looking forward to this one. Rain...Rain...stay away...Hurricane Ike don't come this way!

PNG Central Nederland Lumberton Here's my "don't get it twisted" for the day!...We're not the ones who decided to stop playing every year...Ol' Dan Hooks knew he got away with one in 2005...we've tried to get em back on the schedule since and they're ducking the Jags! (that should stir the pot, huh soulja)

1. Central : 2. PN-G 3. Vidor 4. Livingston/Ozen Vidor had two backs go over 2oo each...this might be their year! Livingston got knocked out by Dayton in the 3rd or 4th round last season...I don't think they'll be soft...could be wrong haven't heard a lot about them...I'll say it again...I like what we've got! If Ozen can have their come to Jesus meeting and iron out somethings...they'll be back on track soon.

Great game friday night, i look for ozen to get back on a winning path this week with a win over Worthing.. Two tough non-district games that have really made the team alot better. Memorial Coach Ronnie Thompson said it himself, the team they played Sat. was a much better team that played in week 0 against West Brook. That's what I like...not bashing anyone or blaming anyone either...way to go Panthers!

We should have done a better job...but we didn't...don't give me that crap about it was on the 2nd and 3rd team...that's bull! Our Offense moved the sticks and our Defense hit CL and CM all night...That #4 did a great job! We'll get better and I sure hope that y'all are ready for the Mustangs...Good Luck! Wish you guys the best for the rest of the season! Hey cowboy, what patsfan1 said about the 2nd and 3rd team was true for the most part. Stump did the same thing last week. When Brook got a comfortable lead, he pulled most of his starters (offensive and defensive) to rest them and give the reserves a chance to play. At that point is when Central really started moving the ball, but by then it was too late. As far as the Brook is concerned, I still haven't seen what I would really call a dominating performance from start to finish. Central made a few mistakes and we were there to capitalize on them. But we made a few mistakes of our own. We cannot do the same against a team like Westfield, who we will play this week. In order for the Bruins to compete in the upper tiers of 5A football, we are gonna have to play mistake free, four quarter football.......which is something we haven't done yet. I give them a B for overall team performance. Jags, I'll give you a B+ in the first half, and a C- in the second half. Keep your heads up Jags, you are gonna win some ball games this year. That defense of yours is stellar, and ya'll did a great job of slowing down our offense. Bruins, we still have some things to work on, but if we show up to play Friday night against Westfield, we should be fine. I think we can beat them in a close game. I spoke to some coaches this morning while dropping off my brother and they said that only subs Brook made on D was the 2 Defensive Tackles...the rest of the D stayed intact for most of the fourth quarter! I know it is common for a team to take out the #1's when they get ahead big....either way the Bruins need to get ready for the Mustangs! I do hope y'all win out...that would be great for the BMT and those kids!

I knew the pigs flying comment would come back and bite me! Bit its all good! Congrats Brook...stats are CM 125 rushing CL 161 passing...if I'm mistaken they had 330 total offense while the jags rushed for 215 and passed for 92yds. We had our chances...but we lost...don't get it twisted, we smashed their D up and down the field! We had some costly turnovers, like soulja said and we didn't capitalize on some of their mistake! All and all, I still like what we've got! Good job bruins! I LOVE MY JAGS!

Since Stowers arrival in 2005 the Jags have been a top 20 4A school his 1st two years (05 & 06)...granted 07 was a down year but we are expecting big things....don't get it twisted, Pup or should I say Cub....Dem Jag so Smoove! The Brook has athletes and we have athletes....so don't give me any of that top team crap...This is a big game...if it weren't the city (or should I say the board) wouldn't have made them play it on such short prep!

Wow, you Jokers are on fire! I can't believe that! Central is better than what you think...If WB puts it on Central the way you claim they will....well, let's just say I expect to see pigs flying! This is not Ozen's D and from what I understand, Ozen moved the ball well! They just couldn't get it in...TO and screw ups. Now WB is good and this will be a good measuring stick to show how Dem Jags are doing this season!

CM has been on the Varsity for 3 years now! He has done his fair share of getting the carries even in a backup role! He's down some talking as have we all! Last season, he had about 85yds on us, but like I said...he's a grown man...and he'll be a load to bring down! But I like our chances!

#33 CM has said every year he's been on the "V" that he was gonna put 200yds on us...and this will be his last chance...but what I think drives our kids is that they really want to beat the Brook! We want the win, and what our D does has not been done in these here parts before! Stowers is running his D again and they looked good against a team that hangs it's hat on throwing the ball! If they can stop the run...and this ain't no slouch...or running back by committee like PA had...this is a "man!" I still like our chances!....Call me stupid or naive! But, I like what we got! I think it will come down to who can limit the big plays, who can hold on to the ball, and who can wrap up! Cowboy I agree with you on our score... But there is no way the Brook does not score more than 14 points! Remember, we are going to keep that clock running...even if they start fast...they'll have to keep our pace! If they get ahead...we still gonna do what we do! We should have beat PA 21-7...but costly turnovers hit us hard! If we can limit our mistakes and still move them chains...we'll be good!

Let's be honest, here...both teames have a short week...both teams are athletic....both teams are well coached...Central has already played a spread team in PA........WB has got to prepare for all the misdirection! The Jags will establish the run game and run til' the cows come home. They will pass when they see fit too...and they will run and pound that D all night long. You're right about one thing...this is a rivalry game....so I ask, who has the upperhand? WB...spread offense and athletic 4-3 defense or Central....Ball control option offense and "Organized Chaos" Defense....if the Jags control the turnovers....Advantage Jags! : Central 17 WB 14 Sound fimilar...scores are flipped!

Check out those stats...PA had just 151 total against those Jags! Consider that they had the #1 passing attack last season in the area...couldn't get it done against the Jags. The D was too strong....Offense gotta control the turnovers...but I like what we've got! Ball control offense keeps that air assult on the sideline...hope we get to play WB!

Not sure...I think both of them were trying not to screw up! And in doing so, played a little timid...you know, not pitching the ball on some of those option plays! I'll let you know later in the week who it will be! Richard has impressed me and I didn't think he could from last year.

Well, he ain't at practice! We'll find out for sure on Monday when they allow withdrawls! OH yeah...if you saw Saturdays scrimmage, you wouldn't give PA a chance against Central! I know in a scrimmage you keep it vanilla, but dang...don't get man handled...and PN-G is not as salty as they were last year! However, anything can happen; especially when BMT and PA play!....GO GET EM JAGS!!!!!! :

Naw, Soulja...that was a Soph RB taken away in the ambulance...my brother said he broke his arm...The taller kid was Michael Richard (last years #14) while the shorter one was BJ (the JV QB)...BJ threw the fade late in the scrimmage, while Richard threw the earlier long ball!
