Fairly certain that everyone supports the kids. But at the same time can see when there is poor judgement and a very critical time to have a stupid (yes it was stupid) penalty. It was selfish but at the same time the kid needs to have the ball more. The parents, both, seem to be creating friction. Drawing attention to this thread, making posts on FB and taking all credit for the kid keeping the bulldogs in the game but not being able to admit that it was a mistake after that last TD. It’s ok to say it was a poor decision. Dogs have a decent wave of athletes and should do fine but man their parents are wild. Some of the same ones saying “don’t worry coach Barrow, we are in the way” a few years back. Them having a tree lighting ceremony for winning 8th grade district title. Let’s the kids play, teach them humility and team first. The coaches need to step up with culture, it hasn’t gotten better. And there is zero reason to have delay of game on a kick off, tacked on to the unsportsmanlike…also, tackle someone, PNG QB and TC RB looked like prime Barry Sanders

looks like knee could be down and let’s not discount the forward handoff 🫤

After regulation while head coaches at mid field, the side judge in front of Nederland sideline got his feelings hurt and threw a flag. He threw it with 0 seconds on clock and before the coin toss. Overall, worst officiating in a half you could imagine. Picture Remember the Titans before Coach Yoast stepped in and threatened to expose the refs during the game.

You keep calling people uneducated at the same time you keep mentioning that just now learned about a Trump policy from 2018. It’s almost like you are uneducated about some things…but that is impossible because you keep saying so #projection

Special teams? That 1 snap wasn’t a 44 point touchdown 🙄 Defense struggled with the run

Hubert Thomas is flat out fast! Is there a game cast stat for how fast he ran on that TD and the 60 yarder? 😳⚡️⚡️

Local crew that has been kind of “banned” from local teams for consistently being horrible. Nederland had this crew at West Fork game. Not sure how they got this game. Outside of that, Nederland defense is being exposed. Fast and hard running from Huntsville. Secondary wants no part of head on tackle. Lots of yards on reversing the field and no backside discipline for Nederland…it made me laugh to say backside discipline but I’m immature Go dogs

Nah, just a gutsy performance by a bunch of kids that have been belittled, under coached and kicked around for a few years. Probably parents/fans speaking in hyperbole. As an Aggie, that language should be familiar. Nice win Dogs, happy for the kids

Like 100% of teams they play

Where do you keep reading this? I’ve never heard that. One committed to Navy (he’s out with injury) the other committed to UNT

There was a half back pass in the first half where a TD was called back. I don’t remember any trick plays in second half. I think you mean play action and scrambles due to lack of blocking

Nederland has improved and has new OC (not good last year) Lumberton lost most of team and added the OC from Nederland 😐…and they quit in middle of their last game I imagine that RB for Nederland will have a career game

Allegedly, OC for Lumberton wanted NO more of what was happening …allegedly

lol, no fight here. Glassjoe was given a nasty gram/point penalty from admin for “abusive behavior”. Maybe the laughing emoji or the quotes on loyalty. Whatever it was, Someone got feelings hurt. Good luck to the former coach in his new spot #raisethestandard

Main reason for his “loyalty” is the fact the other schools would not hire him. No classroom and no football for 20+ years in high school coaching is tough to come by 😂 This loyal coach has been trying to leave NHS for a while. He happen to do it on his own a week before school starts and leaves the new AD slim options from within.

It’s never green. He has tried often and can’t get out of Nederland

Even if they would have won, Nederland finished 3 and has the same match up. Don’t act like the lost made that happen

Is this the same kid with the Tommy John injury from last year? Also, I hear great things about the AD at Nederland. lots of positive chatter and attitudes (outside of this thread and the insane FB one 😂)

Any word on “renewals/non-renewals” on the staff? Outside of Theriot leaving for another position, any changes yet?

Anyway, back to Nederland. Rich seems to be putting in a more structured weight program. Hopefully he has someone come and teach proper technique and lifts, actually be an example. Nederland seemed to have higher than normal injuries and cramping than any team they played, consistently

Word on the street is that the halls and facilities are some sort of bizarro world with the current staff. The usual suspects are all of a sudden “interested” in the kids. Asking about and congratulating kids on other sports, having them run in track events and being concerned. Let’s see if these few days can change the perception of their actions during the last several years…allegedly There are good coaches on the staff and also a handful that just need a change of environment

Frog should have checked before making that last statement 😂 google is free for the barrow defender that signed up today

You must have already been non-renewed

Technically, Waggoner and Reyes are not local. Just recently in the area

Wouldn’t he need to apply to get hired?
