Rusty is a great guy and coach. The future is definitely bright for the Cardinals. The kids seem to have a great attitude and are willing to learn. Good luck tonight High Island.

Tramain Thomas Jr. QB/FS from East Chambers

Congratulations Tramain. Great kid and also a great athlete!

OF 35 Splendora 7

EC Tramain Thomas QB/FS
-
Orangefield did dominate last year, but EC is much improved on the offensive side this year. They had 548 yards of total offense against Shepherd. I know some will say Shepherd was weak, but 548 yards of offense is impressive no matter who you play.
Should be a fun game to watch. OF has a great QB in Ramsey and EC has some very athletic skill guys. Could be a lot of points scored in this one. Good luck to both teams.
-
Eugene Leday of East Chambers had 20 carries for 231 yards and 4 touchdowns.
-
Paul Trammell is going to be a junior. He tore his acl in the first district game last year against West Hardin. He should have a great couple of years ahead of him.
-
Tatum will have one of the top running backs in the state, in any classification. his name is lendon(sp?) creer. this kid is legit, remember that name for the future. and they have a pretty good coach too!!!
-
Lady Titan i understand a little what you are saying. I too played a lot of ball(college) and you must keep your head, which is why this kid must be punished. If not, who knows what might happen next. I agree, things get heated, it is competition, no matter what the color of the players are. Hopefully he will learn from his mistake and move on.
-
I can't believe the coach took up for him. That is unacceptable no matter what happened.
-
Woodville better not overlook the Elks. They have one of the best coaches in the business in Coach John Adair. They will be ready. Should be a good series.
-
the third team is to be determined, maybe not third place. if ec wins and hardin losses, that will put newton, hardin, and ec at 7-3. if newton and hardin win, they will be tied at 8-2 and ec will be third at 6-4. if deweyville wins and ec losses it will be newton 8-2, hardin 7-3, ec 6-4 and deweyville 6-4...tomorrow will be very interesting. nothing like coming down to the wire!!
-
that's correct. the certification deadline is next tuesday, so if needed, the tie breakers will have to be on tuesday. the next week will be very interesting for 24 2A.
-
if there is a tie, the teams will be able to have a play-off.
-
I think, in this situation you can play it off...I will double check.
the district schedule was messed up this year.
-
I don't think deweyville and ec would flip for the third spot...i am sure they will play it off.
-
