i think it could go either way. some coaches play tough non-district schedules and some don't. ive seen schools play weak non-district schedules and then roll through district. personally i think its good to play a tough non-district schedule.

im glad we are not in an 8-team district anymore.

being a student at LU the atmosphere around the voting area seemed very positive.

the Bee Hive was very intimidating.

just came out of the old Setz, and cast my vote for yes!!! there is nothing like the game of football to really pump up school spirit. i hope there is a good turnout for the saturday basketball game.

my first memory of lamar basketball was coach pat foster. i met him at my aunt's graduation in orange, at the lutcher theater,when lamar-orange was still a satellite campus of lamar university-beaumont. he autographed the graduation program. id say he is my favorite all lu basketball coach.

i think the willie ray smith award is a very prestigious award. i think all the finalists are very deserving of the honor they received. i do believe, however, that dravanti johnson should have been nominated.

i didn't know they started on the new press box. i thought that the frame thats up there now is from the old press box. i heard that the new press box will be much nicer than the old one.

i dont have a class on the 29th but i will drive to beaumont anyway to vote yes!!! 8)

man i really wanted to be there tonight, already had a prior engagement. I will definitely be at the next home game! glad to see the cards win, with that many in attendance its very important they win and continue to win. ive always believed that winning is most important, if you want to get fans to fill the seats. its probably too late, but i wonder if its possible to have a pep rally for both mens and womens basketball teams at the start of conference. maybe that will get the students that live on campus more excited about attending the games. have the pep band and cheeleaders attend, invite the community and alumni too. keep winning cards southeast texas is behind you! Go! Big! Red!
