Lamar beat UT 6-2 after beating Arkansas earlier in the regional in Austin. I didn't know the answer but NewCardinal's dad provided a UT baseball media guide I read the other day. I want to say the year was 2003.

Ramirez, don't forget I love football too. I enjoy all the activities which go with having a football team probably a little more than the game itself. The marching band, twirlers, cheerleaders and dance-team and all the game day events. You can count me, Meagan and my roommate as voting for football to return to Lamar. It willl be great once it is passed. I can see the first game as a sellout no matter who we play.

Above, you got me there. I'm a sophomore English major at Lamar so I'm a little young for this question and I'm from Baytown. I not familiar with the area's High School coaches, especially the ones you mentioned. I heard about this board from Jonathan. It really looks great compared to the other board you were on.
