I believe you will see a different looking Indians team this week than recent seasons. Our line is a little young but they are huge and running the ball should be a strong point this season for PNG like in 2010. I mean from our running backs. Roschon will always add a whole other dimension to running out of the backfield. We will be ok passing as well. When RJ starts moving the pockets any defense will have to keep honest and with a very viable running game this year it will open up the passing lanes. We do have a receiver who is very good but his first year to start all season. He did play some on varsity last season though. He is #9. The guy that scored the winning TD against Texas City in the playoffs last season at RB #21 Cejas has moved from RB to WR and caught a 60+ yard TD last week against West Brook. If you want to know about the defensive improvement the only suggestion I have for you would be a look at last week against a team many will come to know and respect very soon on West Brook. They are loaded to the teeth. We held them to 13 points with our starters and they were limited on sustained drives. Only two. Both TDs came off of long passes were our backup safety was. #16 Jackson who is a standout safety on our team took the night off due to a minor injury. This defensive line is a strong point in defense and we moved back into a 3 4 defense. I like the possibility of having a more run-oriented team with a very promising defense.
I was at the PNG WOS scrimmage and I can assure you the qb in a red shirt is a huge disadvantage for a team like WOS who depends on moving the pocket. It was hard on them trying to set up plays. By the end of the scrimmage either defense had zero respect for the qb being a running threat and set up on the backs and passing game eliminating huge parts of both PNG and WOS playbook
Sure did we went to the trouble of bringing Hurricane Harvey to make sure the game did not happen. Now in all seriousness hurricanes speed is even a faster speed than all of them except Gods speed.
Our o line is really large for an Indians line. We should have them all there this week. One has missed two weeks with a minor injury. We have 3 3oo pound guys
