Chester wins 17-4.

Chester has about 50 kids in High School right now. The freshman class has 9 kids and the sophomore class has 8. They have had over 90% participation from the boys for the last 2 years. Coach Franklin has a son in High School and two in Junior High. Coach Shelton also has two boys that will both be in Junior High next year. These kids face adversity every time they step on the field. There is not another school this small in the state playing 11-man football. They must be pretty good coaches if they can compete against schools that are three and four times their size.

Chester played well today. Legacy played hard and it looked like they was gonna make a come back, but the chester boys didnt get down and pulled out the big win

I agree 82. LCM goes to the play-offs about once every 10 years, If that. By the way when was the last time LCM did go to the play-offs? It's not like they have tradition or anything. Maybe in baseball but not football. Before you guys hit me hard. I never said Orangefield did either. I definitely agree

I know for a fact that scott anthony did not hold the homerun record. I am not sure what team you guy think was the best but the 84 team was pretty good if I recall Jamey Holmes and Tracy Franklin hit more than the anthony kid I am not taking anything away from him but he did not hold the record at buna.

I have to agree with Franklin in 1A. Chester has 29 kids playing football and there are less than 40 boys in high school. After the beatings they took last year, for the jackets to be 3-3 and keeping 29 players out, has to at least be worth a look.
