We had 3 teams win tremendous games on Friday night. Wos beat the #1 ranked team...awesome job!! Your boys worked hard to get to this point and have a chance to play Giddings again...their hard work payed off. Congratulations!! All of SETX is proud of you and wish you luck next week. Dayton beat #8 ranked TC...I don't think anyone in SETX had a doubt that you would win. Your team has been playing tremendous football. Congratulations to you!! We are proud of you and wish you luck next week. Lumberton wasn't expected, by most, to even make the playoffs. They did for the first time in school history and beat the defending state champs. Good job guys!! Good luck next week. Let's not take away from any of these boys accomplishments by our silly bickering. Each team has worked very hard to get where they are and all of them deserve our respect. Let's remember that some of our teams won't be playing next week...but we were fortunate enough to win our games. So lets all act like winners and show everyone that this is one of the best areas with the greatest high school football and fans around!! Good luck also to all the teams not mentioned above!! Show them what SETX football is all about!!

Predictions mean nothing to us ;D. If we listened to predictions we would not have showed up to play this year because most people predicted us at the bottom of the pack again. I'm not guaranteeing a win...but as we've shown this year...there is a first time for everything , so, we shall see. Hopefully we'll keep proving those predictions wrong . BTW, good luck to you this week Dayton.

Buc, no one is denying that Dayton is playing excellent football...read the posts from most Lumberton fans...we're just not going to let you or them try to intimidate us. Like I told you before, don't expect us to roll over and say LM, Dayton, or whoever is going to beat us before we even play the game. If we lose, we lose. We'll give credit where credit is due. Besides, you picked Nederland to beat us... that shows that you can be wrong sometimes.
