  1. Does anyone know if Lumberton & Bridge City played and if so, who won?
  2. I don't know how many tried out total, but I know he had a pretty good freshmen turn out. And honestly those are the boys I'd watch out for, they are the group that up through youth ball won the district and went to regionals and such. They might be Lumberton's next hope for any sort of success unless Reyenga has something up his sleeve. The freshmen do have some good players. I've been looking forward to them getting to high school to see how they do.
  3. Way to go Coach! Thanks for standing up for our boys!! I am glad they have you as their coach. I agree that they never give up no matter what. Keep up the hard work...we're behind you 100%.
  4. I have been reading these WOS threads for a while and have refrained from commenting. But I have to say...these are my thoughts exactly.
  5. There were so many "firsts" for us (Lumberton), it's hard to pick just one memory...but seeing the kids on the field after the Dayton and Nederland games was an awesome sight. The atmosphere the whole season was amazing.
  6. Thanks etbu. That is nice to hear. I'll pass along the compliment.
  7. Does this mean that Lumberton played for 3rd place? If so, did they win?
  8. Why does it matter which is the better athlete? They are both good and I think we should just wish them both the best with their futures.
  9. I agree. Jealousy has nothing to do with it. Look at Dayton's defense...they held this district to 21 points...not to mention their playoff run...surely someone was deserving to make the list. This is not taking anything away from DJ...congrats to him...I just think Dayton's defense deserved some recognition also. Congratulations Cody!! Good kid on and off the field. We're proud of you!!
  10. He's #10. Yesterday was his first day of practice. He hasn't played since his soph year but he'll get back in the swing of things soon. #21 is Johnathan Ward. And this was only his second week because of football. He played well and should improve also.
