14-0 EC.  Roberts scored both.  One on about 25 yards and 1 yard. Guillory is playing looks good.  Couple big tackles. Our d is killing woodville.  Opt offense still looks bad on the pass.

I haven't seen any game film to validate or invalidate some of this information but I do agree with some of the angle of pursuit comments.  I watched him move up and engage the lineman when he doesn't need to.  He could do a better job sliding down the defense before moving up to fill the hole that the running back is going through.  Engaging the lineman to early keeps him from giving better outside support.  He is certainly a force to be dealt with inside and with better reads he could have alot more stops behind the line of scrimmage.  I think he does a good job when he drops into pass coverage reading what the backs out of the backfield are doing.  He read the screen pass pretty dang well and put a hit on the running back immediately after he caught it.  I would assume Russ Sutherland is addressing these issues and he will improve each game.  He may not have needed to give that type of support outside at Pearland Dawson.  As far as his play on the offensive side of the ball, he is only in his second week learning the TE positon.  All said and done he could see lots of attention at that spot as well.

I think EC can understand the injury stance as well.  They are starting to stack up over here as well.  Our secondary was supposed to be a real strength for us and we seem to lose one player back there each game...

Im my opinion, i think EC needs to go for two after every TD...  Before we attempted the PAT at HJ, we were discussing it in the stands that going for the tie was like going for the loss with our lack of ability to kick the PAT.  On the road you have to go for the win and means going for two... We have missed at least 50% of our PAT this year and that is what killed us Friday..  I won't even go into our passing attack......  it was bad.. Again, not taking away from HJ because defensively they played very well.  HJ hit us harder than any other team so far... They ran to the ball well and kept the big plays from happening. If we can throw the ball against Woodville that will open the running game.. If not, history could repeat itself again Friday Night.

EC started out 0-2 last year and still won the district so ur murder does mean anymore this year than last year.

All I can say is wow.  EC offense looked terrible.  3 int's and it could have been 3 more.  We better @(:(-) figure that out quick like.  Dang.  Defense played pretty well.  Dang.  I'm sick.  I can't believe that this was the same bunch that executed so well in the early scrimmages and games.  Dang. Great job HJ you did a good job disrupting the offense game plan.

What a half for the EC offense 4 turnovers.  HJ is being aggressive.  Our passes look like wobbly ducks.  I sure hope we make adjustments or there may be some celebrating for the HJ homecoming. 

Don't have to talk trash...  Tell us who is doing well... Gives some props to your team.

Can we please get some HJ folks to talk a little trash on here.  So far its mostly EC and a HF terror plot...  I want to hear about some talented HJ players.  I know that young Martel kid has been doing well.  I don't know enough about the other guys.  We may have to release Kvillecats just to get some talk on here...  It would be about Kirbyville but it would be something...  Come HJ fans...  Let's talk about your team... Throw some names around..  I like hearing names i remember from when i played... You guys are 2-1... gotta be some stuff to say..

i think teams are concerned about his height but you can't argue with productivity.  Glenn has some real skills.  Jamal Charles is not very big either but his impacts are huge when he is on the field.

I'll say 42-14 EC wins.  If it rains and we have a soft field I will reduce it 35-7 EC wins big.
