How is Kirbyville with the pass defense...  Silsbee didn't get in trouble with EC's run game.. It was the passing game that was getting the first downs...

I think he was talking about Silsbee's play selection not EC's..
EC played well but nobody understands a scrimmage you don't keep busting your running back up the middle. You dont show your cards to other teams. You work on what your weak at and wait for the real season to start. Silsbee will be a lot better than they showed last night. No way EC could hang with them once they get rolling.
I think most of us understand what a scrimmage is..... No one is claiming a title for either team.  This is just how it played out last night.  I think EC would do just fine now or later against Silsbee.  Both teams will work on their weakness and come out better next week.

Great Job... as always.. thank you for the extra time it takes to put these out for us AggiesAreWe...
It's been a long day for me. I will post complete stats of this scrimmage in the morning. I will make these couple of comments. East Chambers out played, out performed and out coached Silsbee tonight. Just that simple. After seeing Newton and Kirbyville last week and East Chambers tonight, it's quite obvious to me who has the best team of the three. East Chambers will win district! I will post stats and make some more detailed comments of this scrimmage in the morning.
You up yet?... Was hoping to see some stats....  Anything you got will be helpful.

EC was well balanced in play calling. Silsbee threw the ball well but dropped to many passes. Silsbee didn't run as well as I thought they would.  Sorry I don't have any numbers to give. EC defense is not very big but they will get after you.

EC int in the end zone.  Ball game. EC finishes live play 12-7.

EC int call back with a personal foul call.

EC scores goes for 2 no good. 1:55 left.

Int EC. 4:43 to EC moving

EC punt. 6:20 left.

Silsbee punt.

Looks like another qtr of live ball.  Silsbee has the ball.

Silsbee punt.  1:11 to go

EC scores.  Missed pat.

Turn over on downs.  EC back on offense.

Int silsbee.

Silsbee scores in live play on a 4th and goal.

Silsbee throwing the ball well now.  Moving down the field.

EC second team does not score on silsbee. Going to run 10 minute qtr now.  Not sure why 10 instead of 12.

EC scores twice in the first offensive set.  Second teams going now.

EC scores on first offensive play.

EC defense holds silsbee to no score on first set offensive plays.

Doesn't Matter.... Kirbyville Wins.... Sorry, I could help myself.. Going with Newton in this one.  Secretly hoping not, cuz i am an EC guy but Newton is hard to go against on a regular basis...

Yes... Glen Roberts is a running back... he runs the ball... I guess yall will be likely win then.
