I think this is a good prediction based on having played both teams.  I know EC lost 34-14 to Franklin but that would have been alot closer if not a win for EC if we hadn't lost Glenn Roberts in the 1st qtr.  He had already rushed for around 65 yards at that point.  I don't see Franklin stopping Shorter and Dean....  Newton 63 Franklin 14 sounds good...

I didn't realize Deweyville was still playing football this year..  Must have missed something.

#20 for Franklin is a good player and you should not sleep on him...  In fact, you should key on him.  Their running game and passing game are geared around him.  They also have a good fullback but i believe Newton will close the holes he has to run in quickly.  Franklin's defense is where they struggle the most and Newton will be too fast for them. 

Newton will play Franklin.  Franklin knocked EC out two weeks ago. They will not give Newton a real challenge.  You have to key in on #20 he is their play maker.  I see Newton winning by 40+.

EC lost to Breaux Bridge like 65-30. Looked like we were playing football.  Things will improve.

I understand your opinion but that isn't going to happen.  Newton will be ready to play after having a week to heal any injuries.  Teague will run into a buzz saw...  Newton is young and will make some mistakes but their athletism will cover those mistakes quickly. Teague gets smoked.... :o

I seriously doubt they could field a team without the ones on the football team.  I am not aware that they have even had any practices.

The JV comments are dumb..  Newton's JV is good but they aren't undefeated against regular JV teams.

I think the fix worked.  I haven't seem that dang burger all day.
