Seeing news that it got bad near Pearland. If the tornado is moving straight west, it should end up in the water though.

My predictions for district. 1. Silsbee 2. LCM - I'm still going with LCM, but I feel a little shaky about it. 3. Lumberton 4. Bridge City 5. Jasper 6. Vidor 7. West Orange Stark The real fight is gonna be between Jasper and Bridge City for the 4th spot, I think. It's really close, but I give the edge to BC because they're the better shooting team. Wouldn't be surprised if Jasper sneaks in though.

I went back and checked the Lions roster from last year to make sure I wasn't trippin. It looks like he would be exactly what Kountze needs too. A 6'5 sophomore (junior now). That's too bad.

My most surprising team is Bridge City. They've got some good shooters who can be a problem if they get going. Really didn't expect them to be 4 - 2 right now. Sorry Bear fans, but LCM is a disappointment. It really doesn't look like they have much besides two kids. Not much depth at all. It's going to be easy for good teams to wear them down. I'm not sure they finish second in district after all. Before the season started I thought after Silsbee, it was going to be LCM and then everyone else. I guess two 6'5 kids that can run the floor ain't enough.

I thought there was two Sells kids who could ball. Something happen to the other one or am I mistaken?

Be nice if LCM somehow still managed to get a game with Yates. No idea how Yates is doing or if that's possible. They only play 7 kids (at least they did last night) and rarely sub till one of their players looks like he's about to fall over. They can't afford for one of their good players to have an off night either. Not sure how far they can get with that. Might want to get #0 to work on his free throw shooting.

Oh and #14 on JV is Quentin Shoulders. Gonna be a nice addition next year to go alone with Johnson and Peyton. Usually #21 for JV can ball out, but he didn't play. Matter of fact, a lot of kids on the lower levels didn't play.

Dunk count could have been 2 - 2, but Harris just barely missed the windmill.

[Hidden Content] Tiger gym usually doesn't fill up till the varsity game. There's usually plenty of space on the visiting side unless they're playing United or Lumberton. Literally next to no place to sit for the Jasper game. Have to choose your bathroom trips wisely.

I would imagine they'll slowly work him back into the rotation. Doubt he sees major minutes tomorrow.

He's supposed to be back Friday. Hope he can work himself into good shape by playoff time.

Touchy fouls always annoy me. I hate having to listen to the fans on the other side of the gym screaming that Silsbee is playing dirty, then sarcastically cheer when they finally get a call.

I'd expect this to be a close ballgame for at least a half. I think the Tigers pull away at the end like they've done against LCM the past few years. Watched the LCM/Bridge City game (there's someone who streams their home games on Youtube) and they look like the same Bears from last year minus the big Mexican/Spanish kid. If they want a chance they'll have to make sure their best player stays out of foul trouble. He'll need to play the whole game and get help from somewhere also.

Must be before my time. I've heard a lot of things sitting in the stands over the years. One thing I've never heard or witnessed is anyone being satisfied with the officiating. It would be nice if the ref the farthest away wasn't usually the one making the bad calls.

The community already ran off the kid who was starting for Allen if you keep up with the news.

52 - 30 Not a fan of us already giving up 30 points. Of course the bench has seen plenty of court time tonight.

Wow. Had no idea it was that bad. Last year in b-ball it was Wardlow who did most the damage to the Tigers. Wonder if he got any offers to play somewhere.

That's a remarkable drop off from where they were at just a year ago. One specific player graduating has a lot to do with it. Usually the Mustangs have enough athletes to make the Tigers have to work for it. That doesn't look like it'll be the case tonight.

Still a bit concerned about us not having our 3-year starting PG for the season. Even if he came back, it'd take time to get into shape. Still, if the shots are falling, I like our odds in the region. Even if we only shoot the ball decently like we did against Jasper, it's enough to pull away from a team. What I want to see is the defense keeping it up. Keep everyone to 50ish points a game should be a goal.

Found a clip of the first Harris dunk that was cut off by the camera. There's a reason why they just let him have the second one.

Does the Elliot kid at LCM have any real help? Had LCM at the #2 spot in district. Starting to question that if they lose to Lumberton.

I swear Silsbee had about a dozen or more shots that'd do everything but go in. Sometimes I think these home rims really hate us for some reason.

Pretty sure it's like football, so that means 4 teams get in. I've got Silsbee and LCM as #1 and #2. Who knows what it'll be after that.

Probably be like playing WOS these past few seasons. Might win by 6, might win by 40.
