Look Dawg fans,  it doesn't matter if you like it or not the coach has made his choice  that Raines in the starter.  I dont know either one being that I am a Pirate fan but did he have a good game.? NO.  Where his passes off the mark? YES.  Did he make the passes when it counted? YES  We have a two or three QB system at Vidor.  Do I like it? NO  You know what they say when you have two QB's you dont have one.  I dont know if Raines will turn it around but that will be the Coaches job to make any changes if he fells it is needed.  You got the W.  Thats all that counts.

SFA you are completly right. I can tell you this.  If one of mine did what happened over there.  Football would be the last thing they would worry about because they would never see the field again.

I guess its ok to report this now that the game was played.  What a joke.

Great football game last night.  I have to agree it would have been nice to have 2 out on the field but lets not take away from the guys that played.  I watched the game replay last night and you guys played great.  Even though the TV folks could never get it right until the end of the game,  AP played one heck of a game at QB, (Like he has all season) and if not for the great play on forth down by Nederland,  would have been named player of the game.  #16 played great leading the Pirates dispite going down with a knee injury.  Was out for two plays, got it wrapped, and back out on the field.  Fantastic two way effort by the young man on offense and defense. QB/LB  Keep your heads up boys.  We have a long way to go.  That game was the first I remember in a long time nobody is complaining about the refs.  That game was decided on the field.  Congats Nederland.

Here we go with another pointless rivalry thread.  I wouldnt be depending on the Beaumont Nosuprise on getting many stories right around here.  PNG/Nederland is a true rivalry.  That doesnt mean the Pirates dont get amped up everytime they play them.  But I have to agree, that to have a true rival, it needs to be a two sided affair.

How is this poking the needle at WOS?  This is an article from the Beaumont Enterprise.  Is it not a fact the Redd kid had to go to a hearing on if he could play or not?  From my understanding any kid can transfer out of a school that in Unacceptable without having to sit out.  Even if it was for "Athletic" reasons, do you think he would say it was?  I used to be a WOS supporter but,  come on Thompson,  stop wasting tax payer dollars testifing on a kid transfering on what you heard from other students and from a school that has other problems than their football team.  Let the smites begin.

No disrespect intended but Dave Cambell is an idiot.  Remember what his picks were for district.  It all goes by numbers and the only number that counts is the final score of the last game of the season.
