ummm, can you send a link to the story?  I am in Tennessee, its not in MY driveway!  I was down there when it happened and would love to know what they did or didn't come up with.

How is Vidor's offensive line?  HAHAHA!  Bring on Quarente, Bolinger and Smallwood!!  We love being underrated!

I believe the way after Montgomery rallied back last night and was able to, that came down to who wanted it more and Vidor did.  I think this game will be the same way.  However, I don't think against Angleton that we can afford to let them get as close as Montgomery did in the last bit of the game.  I knew when we were ahead 42-14, we had it won, the last few minuted I was sweating it out.  When you get the lead next week, your gonna have to keep a big lead.

GO PIRATES!!  I am about as big of Pirate fan as one can get.  I never went to Vidor schools, I grew up in a neighboring town but one set of my grandparents lived in Vidor and I went to every football game with my great grandpa from the year I was born until my Jr year of high school.  I was raised on Vidor football and I miss it!  For the past two years I have driven back for Homecoming because I can't get enough of the Pirate spirit.  You are representing the area well and although I am over 800 miles away, I have on my Pirate t-shirt as I do every Friday night during football season.  Go out there and continue making us proud.  At this point we are VERY happy when you win but that is just an "extra", give it your BEST and we can't ask for more!!  I do however hope that opposing teams keep up that doubt because we laugh all the way to the goal post!!  GO PIRATES!!

you can tell it is playoff time in Southeast Texas!  When else will you see an Indian wishing a Bulldog, Pirate and Panther good luck?!  And I mean that all ways, just started with the Indians, not just signaling them out.  Good luck to all teams!!  I am in Nashville and wearing my Pirate shirt proudly!!  GO PIRATES!

you sound like me last year, only I came in from TN.  But still lost Homecoming to PN-G of course and had to drive 13 hours the next day!!  At least my son got to see his first ever Vidor HC that year and at least he thought it was the neatest thing ever!
