Glad I am getting to listen to this game although this year it is from my computer in TN!!  I have come down for Homecoming the last two years.  My only problem this year is the PNG announcers keep playing that darn Cherokee stomp and growing up loving these two go back and fourth I can't help but have that song go over and over in my head when I hear it.  I sure wish they would let me hear SLAVONIC!!! GO PIRATES!!

I have been a die hard Pirate fan my whole life, however I went all through school in Lumberton so this one is tough for me.  I never pull against my Pirates but don't want my Raiders crushed.  Sounds to me though like Vidor is not trying to crush them, Lumberton just can't hold on to the ball sounds like when I was there in the 80s!!

I drove over 800 miles last year to Vidor's Homecoming.  I got to the game and of course I had on my Pirate t-shirt.  I couldn't find a spot to sit so I tried going over to the LC-M side and was stopped.  Policemen will stop you.  My advice don't wear a Pirate shirt or wear something over it so they don't see it.  Yes, I finally found a seat on the home side!  Good thing since I brought my boys 800 miles to see a real football game!

You boys are gonna make me so sad that I can't make my 800+ mile trek this year for a little Pirate Football.  I had accepted the fact until my parents decided at the last minute to go to the game and called me!  Yall did a great job last night.  Wish I could listen on the computer this year.  Love my PIRATES!!!

My dad just called me from Sonic in Vidor as part of "The Black Pearl" send off!  That town is rocking!!  That send off made our Homecomings sound sane!  GO PIRATES GO!!  #28 look down on the boys and boys bring home the win for Matt!!
