Anyone getting to work the gals? Lots of rain this way for over a week. Got in a marathon tryout last Sunday and have another on tab for this afternoon. After a lot of work yesterday the fields looked good. We got another big shot of rain yesterday evening to mess things up again. We got the field maintenance crew going again this morning and if the rains hold off we should be able to pull off the scheduled workout today. Good Luck. Hope rains hold off.

I would also recommend trying out for SEVERAL teams BEFORE you choose. Keep ALL your options open and NEVER badmouth or say anything that will turnoff a teams coaches because you never know when you might be playing for them. Or NOT playing for THEM.

I won't disagree, but they do need some work on their umpire mechanics knowledge. Jeeeeze!!!! Make one little comment to a Blue and you're labled for life. Ok--i am sitting here staring with a blank look on my face at my screen --and i am still not getting a time out. Whats the deal? TIME!!! Okay, what you got coach? Thanks BLUE I've got two umpires that both agree that coaches and fans are non-essentials to the game of GFPSB-- I've got one coach that seems to be having a hernia and nobody stepping up to give him a hand to check it out Ive got one coach that seems to feel a bit guilty of the umpire mechanics call Nobody else responding to the Vipers And as for me--now that i am a retired Coach/Team Hydration therapist, I have all the TIME I need to read and harass everybody that sets me up for a fun posting.
