  1. Something a lot of you have wanted will happen in 2010. 43' pitching distance for 2010. :
  2. Did not get to umpire any of their games, but watched a couple. Great Job Ladies and coaches. Yeah, it was HOT.
  3. Hi Holly, Glad to see you are offering you God given talents. How You Been glen
  4. If I am the umpire and know she had this condition, I would ask for a Doctors release. If none, she would set the bench, and I would be in my rights.
  5. Hillguy, Glad I finally put a face to the name. Nice meeting you.
  6. I thought that the coaches did an outstanding job at the Instructional camp. I got to call a couple of games they arranged the gals to take part in after the camp was over. It was interesting. The coaches, did not matter what team they were coaching, would help all the players during the games. Angelina and Kingsville coaches were on the field I was assigned. Great job Coaches.
  7. No Mam, BHBLUE is not R. Roth. Both equally good, but two different fellows. As for James M., me is also good. Pappa---I agree that you are good--but at least let us speak for you. ROFLMBO Fixed that error5.
  8. It was definiately HOT. I, JMHO, think that Texas Magic had the best team there. Now don't jump hard P88, I did not see y'all play but saw Texas Magic 3 times and all times were very impressive performances. They beat Pariots and OCG very handily. It was a good tournament and yes, there more than a handful of college coaches. Even a few college players. Good to see M Verde and Dad on hand Even one college coach coaching a team. The LA Blast. They were not bad either.
  9. No Mam, BHBLUE is not R. Roth. Both equally good, but two different fellows. As for James M., he is also good. edited to correct spelling that weed has already caught.
  10. This tournament in years past has always had allot of College Coaches attend. Matter of fact we've had several girls get signed because of this tournament the past few years. Hit Away, out of Houston, puts this one on their agenda each year to get their girls the exposer. Its a good tournament to attend. Even with BHBLUE on your field. ;D
  11. Congratulations on another steller performance.
  12. How about telling those ASA umpires that its just brown bubble gum. ;D Had to be Mike Grogran
  13. Why you so worried about it? Who said I was worried? I merely asked a question. If U are a sports reporter, then surely you have checked this out. Would be news would it not? :
  14. What is the name the new team will go with?
  15. At the same time there is also an IFA event on one of the pods. I believe 10/12's. So bring your team and have your players attend the clinic as well as play in a tournament.
  16. Might also check with OCGold, they looking for pitcher.
  17. I agree the Shockers did play well. Congratulations to them. Congratulations also to the Blast in the 16U bracket. They made a heck of a run at the title. Looks like this Blast bunch will be a team to reckon with.
  18. As everyone knows, I am not a coach, but umpire and fan of the game. I do not think it is acceptable. If a player is on a team roster, then she should be left alone. She made her choice. Coaches that care about their players will get them the exposure that they need. A player jumping ship, so to speak, is like one taking that vacation so many of your were against, during the height of High School season, letting her teammates down. If a players feels they just cannot cope with the team they have signed with, then they should at least have the courage and guts to confront the coach and let them know how and why they wish to leave. As for coaches going to players and already signed, not acceptable. If as a coach/manager you are just starting a new team, there are lots of players out there not playing. Sure, early on talent may be lacking, but that will be your job in getting them ready. Just my thoughts. but I have no horses in this race.
