There is no doubt in my mind if Nederland would have beat WOS by three TD's, this game would be played! I just don't know how this guy can look his kids in the eye after backing out and then staying backed out of the biggest game of the year in this community!! I truly think that this guy may have burried hisself with this decision!

As an outsider, but long time Beaumont fan, I think that this has got to be one of the worst moves I have EVER seen made by a Varsity Head Football Coach. How can you ever expect your kids that you coach to not make EXCUSES when this is the example that the Head Coach has given them. Even when Ozen went 1-9 and Central went 0-10 we were not scared to play our oponents. For a guy who is on the hotseat, you would think this would have made it a little hotter. Next year this guy may not have a choice applying for jobs!! Very EBARRASSING move for the LCM program!!

As far as the individual athlete's go, I think that Cetral should have a few relays and a few in the sprints. I also think that the Brook has a chance in the open quarter and you already know that Brannon of Ozen will bring home 3 or 4 Gold's. I like Dayton in the mix in the 4x400, as they have in the last few years. Also in the smaller classes I like Newton's high jumper and Gloston of WOS in the 100, as well as the Mustangs in a few relays. In the team competition, I like Central to win their region and I like WOS to repeat as regional champions. I may have left off some of the smaller school competitors, and if so I apologize. I try to keep up with the area leaders, but sometimes it is hard to find on the internet and newspapers. Good luck to all area competitors!!

Im not sure about alot of the field events in the area 4A district except I know Vidor has a Great Pole Vaulter named Parker but Central's 4x100 and 4x200 are leading the 4A district, as well as Frog's brother going 10.5 @ Baytown this weekend. I think Dayton is leading the district in the 4x400. In the 3A district WOS is leading in all three relays, the 100, 200 and I believe the 400. Silsbee I believe is leading in the shot, 110's, and 300's. I' m sure WOS has Long and Triple Jumpers cause they always do. Last year at the Regional Meet they had two different kids go over 23', I have never seen that before. Especially at a school that size. As for the area girls goes: ALEXIS BRANNON IS LEADING WHATEVER SHE WANTS TO BE!!!!!!

I don't even remember them in the race! The newspaper has 1.Lee 3:20.04 2.Sterling 3:20.23 3.West Brook 3:22.18. They don't list anything about Central.

I went to Baytown this weekend to watch Central and Westbrook and I thought Ozen, but they didn't show, and I saw the fastest 4x100 I have seen all year. I believe Central ran a 41.2 and Baytown Lee ran a 41.4. I have been very impressed with Central all year and sad to say, but I can see them winning the region and maybe the state!

I know that as of now Central is looking very fast in track, but I think they lose some of those guys and WOS is looking very fast as well. I am not sure if the same people who run for WOS are on the football team. I listened to three games this year on the radio and I cant remember any one except the Franks kids named being called. I also think that West Brook will be fast as usual, and I think the ZEN may be a little down by looking at the track times.

Seems to me like we have a lot of Football Scholarships every year, but not a lot of Football WINS at OZEN. The program has fallen WAY off since Thomas Brooks left!! You know that is what happens when you put a 9th grade coach in charge of a Varsity Football Program!! Great job BISD!! Keep up the good work!!

"How lucky do you feel" Ok Clint Eastwood wanna be, that is what the problem is, there are a bunching of coaching wanna be's on here with a quick trigger on the delete button. My point was some schools are heavily protected on here and others are hung out to dry. For example, if I was to say anything questionalbe about wos playcalling i will get threatened. Outsiders come on here talking smack and are left alone, and also other schools in the area are attacked and nothing happens. Funny how that works.

You moderators are a trip! The rules definately do not apply equally. Yall are quick to jump up and protect some people and others are left to hang out there and get hammered. This is a message and people should be able to voice facts and opinion's. If people think that there was bad playcalling there should not be three moderators threatening poster's on commenting on that. Yall need to chill out and let people talk or yall will lose posters. JMO!! GO PANTHERS!!

The same thing keeps happening in bisd over and over and over with coaches especially. Everytime a good one comes along they see how messed up the district is, and then they leave. Big Ham was correct in a previous post when he said central football was not high on the superintendent's priority list. I would love to see that priority list. It's ashame that we have lost some great role model's in our school district because of ignorance in administration. Coaches such as ( Arther Louis, Thomas Brooks, and soon to be Donald Stowers). Until their is a change in the administration, then we will have to settle for less.
