PN-G has 20-4a in the bag!!!!
Since D3zii seems to be under the weather ( :D :D ), I will quickly come in and say... Ain't gonna happen. We let you escape last year...
But all seriously, here are my picks.
1. Central - D. Heard will be offensive player of the year next year
2. PN-G - What Faircloth have done with the Indians last year was NOT a one hit wonder. Just watch and see.
3. Nederland - If you want to win, you start Forney on offense, point blank.
4. Ozen - I don't know what was missing last year, but it sure in the heck wasn't athletes
5. Vidor - No question if they can move the ball... Question will be on the defensive side of the ball...
6. LC-M - Crouch, this is not 3a ball here.
7. Livingston - No Quinton Jackson... No Keke Johnson... No playoffs.
8. Lumberton - No offense, but back to your rightful place.
Lack of a QB
And the worst offensive line I've ever seen -
Ned-13
HF-1
OF-7
Kelly-2
Jasper-3
Vidor-2
Lumb-0
LCM-6
BC-2
PNG-3 -
Johnson Pitched against Hudson?
-
He probably doesnt have the credentials to transfer to Lamar, If grades is the case. His only chance will be JuCO.

If your kid is on a true selct team then you are not paying a dime for anything, if you are writing checks then he is not on a true select team but a glorified little league that travels. Every Kid plays on A "select team" now its just a money deal.
That might be the dumbest comment anyone could write on this topic.
This is comming from the same guy Who posted this in another topic
"Lumberton shouldn't be considered. Their coach is too stupid to play his best players."
Basically you are Porbably the dad paying way too much for your kid to be good (which apparently is not working), but whatever floats your boat buddy. I do love however, how you love to use the words stupid and dumb when talking about other people. such class

Nope there's very high hopes for the Cardinals this season...
9 Returning Starters on each side of the ball
2 Great new Offensive and Deffinsive coaches
A whole full year to learn the new systems instead of only a summer
Greaty work ethic from the players in the Off-Season and the Summer Workouts
BC had many Juniors and Sophomores on Varstiy last year because a lack of Seniors and injuries to Junior-Starters, if you don't think BC won't be improved you're mistakened
Still they go 2-8 or 3-7 at best need atleast 1 more year

Crosby will win every game in district except against dayton. BH and King does not have anybody on the field that is even in Chance Caseys League. Crosby only will need to block 7 out of the 11 for him to score. Might be the best athlete in the area (at runningback), only one near him is Christian Micheals.
-
Man it is nice how they have it set up now with big school and small school at the state championship. You have to really wonder how CELINA WON IT ALL WHEN THEY WERE IN 2a and beat all those 4a and 5a school in 2003 when all school competed against each other because they had all classifications playing together.
-
Just some little info. 1987 player and HR record holder at Buna Scott Anthony(well he used to have it Dalome might have broke it) is Brandon Hillans Uncle. Baseball runs in that family I would say
-
this is comming from huffman I think they will be just fine, as long as the guy can take a snap and hand off
-
Crosby beat PNG last year and I think they will once again this year in week 2. Dayton will beat whoever they play. North Forest ISD will have more athletes on the field then anybody they play in either district, if they come out fired up it could get ugly. Crosby and Barbers Hill will compete well with the other teams in that district. Ohh by the way Dayton did kill crosby last year, but didnt they put up 76 against Ned., 48 against PNG, and only lost to the state champs Lake travis (they did loose to lumberton but they didnt have their QB witch in my opinion if he is there they win by 2 TD's or more). Crosby would have beaten any other team in that district. All four of those teams are returning their best players.

I know from experience that the reason for low attendance at high school baseball games is because a lot of us have a kid or kids involved in youth baseball which is going on at the same time as high school baseball. Therefor, we can't make it to all of the HS games, but I wish I could. I imagine there are a lot of people out there in the same boat as me. Of course you'll never get 8,000 to a HS baseball game, but I think you could get around 1,000 if it didn't conflict with the youth baseball season. My two cents
Scalp not trying to be negative, I think you have a good point but ,you will never have 1000 people at a HS baseball game in this area maybe 500. Reasons are
1. you don't have parents of Cheerleaders, Band members, Dance Team, Twirlers, in the stands like football.
2. you only have 15 at max on a Varsity baseball team while in football you usually have up to 30 (which means more moms, dads, granpa's, grandma's , and so on.
3. you have track, softball, golf, soccer, and Tennis also going on at the same time. football only has volleyball and the varsity girls play early so they can go to the football game
Overall football brings your community closer together because it involves more Students from the community then any other sports. That is why it gets more money. But Scalp I Do think it would be awsome to see a Ned and PNG baseball game with the same amount of fans that are at the football games (with the band!) that would be awsome

Where is LCM in the homerun derby? They must have a bunch by now.
LCM seems to be very modest about the number of homeruns that they have hit. You don't see any of their kids on here talking "smack" about all of their power which I think is very admirable.(especially since they are either at 26 or 27 for the year). They are definitely a group of classy young men.

casey is the real deal!!! He should definitely medal in the 300h at state.
Right now he is third in the nation in the 300 H and 5th in the 110 H, no 4a Texas runner is even near him. He should when them both in state.

Watched the kid play last year at NC, and he is not that good. Whoever said D-1 is hilarious, : if he was d-1 NC would have won more then 2 games last year. Plus they were the largest school in a weaker 4A district. But all that being said Hardin will be back in the playoffs next year.
He was a freshman last year "i cant scratch my self and watch a football game" old ball coach........... We will see what he does in a star studded two-a district.
No you are wrong sir, you might want to check your sources because the kid was a sophmore last year, but yes played like a freshman. : So Keep on scratchen son
