  1. Independent Voters Favor President Trump by Nearly 10% – And This Was Before President Trump’s Visit to East Palestine Last Week! [Hidden Content]
  2. I won't insult your intelligence by suggesting that you really believe what you just said!
  3. Trump Crushes DeSantis in Fox News Poll. If DeSantis is smart, and I know he is, he'll wait 4 years. No one will beat Trump in 20124. Especially after seeing how a REAL President looks like when he went to Ohio! [Hidden Content]
  4. From the article: "As Trump’s national security advisor, General Flynn could have accessed the classified documentary evidence required to charge Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton with having engaged in “High Crimes and Misdemeanors” over their covert gun-running to al-Qaeda splinter militia groups and the Muslim Brother in Libya, as well as their clandestine gun-running to ISIS in Syria." 5. Bold: Yes, against who they are set to compete against. School are set every two years against like-kind opponents. But let me correct one thing. Not any coach. It takes a coach with special talent to go any where and win. I've said in a previous post that I scrolled through pages and pages of the Texas Football History web site and and never see a school with a State Title. Then you might see one and then nothing. It's hard for me to believe that there is not 1 year that these schools ever had championship-type kids. I also stated that there was a coach at a school for 42 years. And no Titles. Again -- no kids at least once there?! Now we are starting to make a little sense. Previously, I've been laughing too hard at the questions like: Can Sabine Pass beat the KC Chiefs? LOL!! Anyway, first of all, we are talking about Sabine Pass and Mart in their present day condition. This is the reason why you used these 2 examples. But, before Mart won their first Title, what did it look like there? How about at Aledo? How about at Carthage? May not be able to compare 100%. But there was obviously something wrong because there were no Titles before Buchanan, Surratt and Lindloff arrived. I haven't studied much of their past. But, I have studied Stephenville when Art Briles was there. Stephenville was pretty bad. From 1909 to when Briles showed up, Stephenville never won more than 9 games. And they did that only 3 times. Brownwood was the big dog in their district. Stephenville had not won a DC since 1952. And they had not beaten Brownwood since 1963. That's 25 years before Briles got there. Briles shows up and institutes his program and in 6 years won his 1st Title. Went on the win 3 more. His 12 year record is 136-29. And yes, they beat Brownwood. Point being, up until Briles showed up, concerning beating Brownwood, and possibly other things, I'm sure people were saying the same thing there as being said about Sabine Pass. You know, they can't do this and they can't do that. But what happened to these different schools? The right coach came along. So, now back to Surratt and Sabine pass. My answer is absolutely he could. 7 years is a long time. That's enough time to institute his program. In 7 years Mart might not be the same and not have an Elite coach. But here's another caveat: What if they meet up and both teams have Elite coaches. Then what? Oh, and BTW, thanks for bringing up Mart. 5 coaches have won Titles there. And all 5 first Titles were won within my 7 year time frame!

Another Title within 7 years. What is amazing is how far you can scroll down through those pages and not find a team that has a Title. Every now and then you find one. But, you can go to the teams with Elite coaches and you see Titles galore. Amazing isn't it?!

  8. From the Texas History website: "Gordon Wood, G.A. Moore, Jr. and Tim Buchanan each copped state football trophies in four separate decades." If it's not about coaching then how did these coaches always get the championship-type kids for 4 decades?! Were they that lucky and everybody else was that unlucky?!
  9. I just stopped laughing! I can you are still trying to perfect your silliness. I may need to start calling you the "Silly Perfecter!" First of all, my 7 year program is for teams to win State within their classifications. Therefore I never said anything like what you stated. No one has ever asked, say, Sabine Pass to compete with, say, Katy to win a Title. Not going to happen. So, if Surratt goes to Sabine Pass then yes, I can see him winning a Title in 7 years. Carthage never won a Title until he got there. Look, there are some here who blame the kids and there are some here that blame the coach. You talk about playoff runs, why is it that Carthage can and those in the same district can't. Sounds like coaching to me. It's always interested me why schools can never win a Title. But then a certain type of coach comes in and starts winning Titles. I not a firm believer in "the kids just started showing up when this coach did!" I just don't think the Vidor coach, if he was there, could have done the same thing as Dodge did at Southlake Carroll and Westlake. Then again, I think one poster actually said Dodge wasn't that good. He just had the right kids. But, it's all speculation anyway and my opinion!!

  11. Just came across another coach who won Titles within 7 years. I'd say 90% of the time a Championship-type coach will achieve this! 13. From the article: "Missouri’s Attorney General just fired St. Louis progressive prosecutor Kim Gardner (Commie) for failing to prosecute violent crimes and for other reasons. Gardner is a Democrat whose campaign was bankrolled by left-wing superhero George Soros. She admitted to prosecutorial misconduct in the case she brought against former Missouri Governor Eric Greitens. Also, she was barred from prosecuting Mark McCloskey on gun charges after a judge found she was using the case to fundraise for her reelection campaign. She has a backlog of 3,000 cases she has not brought. The immediate precipitating factor for her firing was an incident in St. Louis last week in which a high school volleyball player visiting the city was struck by a speeding car, pinned against another car, and lost her legs. The driver of the speeding car was free pending trial for armed robbery after Kim Gardner’s office failed to show up for his first trial and failed to respond when the defendant’s GPS monitor went off 40 times before the crash – meaning they didn’t know where he was half the time. The volleyball player is not the only victim the Soros DAs have claimed. Soros DA George Gascon in Los Angeles cut loose a Vietnamese man who had a history of making death threats against Jews. After his release, the man went on to shoot two Jews who were leaving their synagogues." I heard about this a few days ago. This was concerning the volleyball player losing both legs! Sad! She is part of those that do not apply certain laws. They say laws are disproportional and racist (there's that word again!) against minorities. Actually talking about blacks NOT all minorities. But if a prosecutor does not uphold the oath they take to uphold the laws then this should be immediate removal! Thoughts?! 14. It all depends whether people believe in accountability. Good is a relative term. Like decent or acceptable. I tend to lean towards the term great. If you are paying big bucks for a service would you want just a good job or a great job? It's just like holding on to a coach for 24 years with a losing record. Not my idea of being held accountable. But, again, the fans and the Admin has to care in order to make this judgement.
  15. If a CEO runs a company into the ground and drives the stock down, say, from $200 to 2 dollars, i'll guarantee you, my friend, this CEO will get fired for non performance!
  16. Is that the stated goals and are they paid big bucks to achieve that?
  17. Again, my friend -- you are stretching! LOL! Is this something like why can't Sabine Pass complete with the KC Chiefs argument?! Again, LOL! But, I'll play the game: If someone is hired to win the Nobel Peace Prize and is paid big bucks to do it the, yes, there should be a time frame. Don't you think? People in the private sector get fired all the time for non performance of the required goals.

  19. The point is you can. The 7 year rule is mine. And that's a school to school rule. Every time a coach moves to a new school then the time is reset. After doing a little studying, I found the average, on the Championship coaches I looked at, on winning their first Title is 4 years. Again, I added 3 years. A school can put any amount of years to hold the coach accountable. It can be 7, 10, 12 or whatever. But, there's a caveat: The school and fans have to care about winning a Title. No need to be concerned about years and accountability if you don't care. People are held accountable all the time in the private sector so why not the public sector as well?!
  20. Like Ben said, is there a Latino national anthem, a Jewish national anthem or a Polish national anthem that has to be sung before the Super Bowl as well? If not -- then why not? Sounds like the NFL is being Woke and RACIST!

  22. I see your point. But I underlined "exactly" for a reason. Sure, there has been teams in the past that has ran the Slot-T and Slot-I and has won State Titles. But what Vidor and Liberty hill does is a might different. They have a tight slot and tight splits. They run to the line and run the play that's called as quick as possible hoping to confuse the defense with misdirection. But, this really does not leave room for anything else to happen. You can't really have some sort-of passing game. About all you can do is play-action passes. I guess you could run to the line, then drop straight back and let routes develop. Of course you won't do any coverage reading running to the line and taking the quick snap. Plus, I doubt there can be any audibles taking place. So, again, has any team, let's start from 1970, running Vidor's type offense, won any State Titles? PS -- Ethridge ran the Slot-T and Slot-I. But he also incorporated a flanker set. He had a pretty good passing system that augmented his running attack. But, his QB's didn't run to the line and quickly take the snap. Point is, I'm thinking, is you have to have some sort of a passing game. This is why I asked the main question. Maybe you don't don't need a passing game. Well, other than play-action passes.
