Not taking anything away from Lufkin, but you did take a loss.  You should still be ranked.  But its a slap in the face for Memorial imo.  Those guys didn't even receive votes which is ludicrous!

So, every undefeated team should be ranked ahead of a one loss team, regardless if that team may be better or not? Not saying PAM shouldn’t be ranked, but sounds like you’re argument.

Ok I am not sure of the law on cameras but I would think there would definitely be legal issues with placing cameras in a locker room full of minors. The school district definitely had to take a stance there.  I know as a parent I would have major issues with this.  Doesn't matter what is said about when they are turned on or off, it's just that what is said.

The school district is definitely at fault in my eyes as to have having no response when they were told the thievery was occurring.

I can definitely see dismissal of the coach especially if the camera locations are illegal.

    Agree

In my opinion, you have this exactly right.  As I've said WB has surprised me this season several times, so I won't rule them out.  But, Westfield usually has one of the better O and D lines in GHA.  They're team is big and fast at the skill positions.   They will remind you of The Woodlands in size.  While I think West Brook would play The Woodlands better now and I don't think WF is as good this season, I still don't like this match-up for WB.  I think they are one of the few teams capable of slowing WB's offense and with the WB defense that is a very bad thing.  On the other hand.  If I have underestimated WF's ability to slow WB's offense, we could see another WB upset.

Longview is bigger and more physical on the offensive line than Westfield. They are bigger than the Woodz too. So, if they could beat them...........I agree though that Wf should be the favorites. I just wouldn't say Wb couldn't handle them for that reason. Y'all could be right about the WB offense vs the Westfield defense. The WF defense has a lot of size and speed. More size on the line than The Woodz if I remember correctly and probably more speed too. That's why I think WF may win. That Westfield defense should give them several problems, IF they tackle well..

Westfield is a physical team and WB doesn't do physical.  WF by a lot........

I would agree with you if Wb didn't beat Longview. I've seen Lv and Westfield. Both are very physical football teams. Westfield just has more size on the d-line and is better defensively. Not sure who will win this one though. After watching both, I think WF should be the favorites. Just not confident in picking them. Wb doesn't have a lot of talented players and size on their team, but they get the job done. The way they utilize #9 and #6 on offense can be very effective and tough to deal with for defenses that aren't discipline. I guess we'll see. I would worry after last night if I was a Wb fan though. I was in Palestine last night and Lakeview had no business scoring that many points in the second half. I could understand it against our offense and Lv, but not the one that I watched last night. If they play like that against WF, 82 could be right about it getting ugly.

Well, it's true I've not been a huge fan of the current coaching staff. True, they did finish 9-1, but other than playing the Woodlands, our schedule was pretty weak. I'm proud of their record, but I still don't have much faith in winning by out coaching an opponent. Do I think they'll beat the Lobos, my gut feeling days no. But, I didn't think they'd win 9 games, this season, so I'd love.to be wrong, once again.

    You're calling us weak??? Lol

Ok, so that's the same one...  I might've gotten that mixed up with the renovation...  my bad...

I thought you were talking about the old one. Yea, it's the same one when we played Central for several years. Just have turf now, video screen and we've added more stands.

Never been to this newer Panther stadium.  Before this new one was built, there was an older one.  it was back when Central used to play Lufkin every year...

The older one was called Panther stadium and I think Abe was built in the 70s. I think it opened in 73. I think my parents were Fish in high school that year lol. So, I'm not sure about the dates and definitely don't know much about the old stadium, other then what I hear. Abe isn't bad though. It holds over 12,000 now with the new sections/seating that were added a few years ago. The turf is nice and we have a larger video screen now that we just got last season. We just need a new pressbox and the locker rooms need to be updated for obvious reasons. Not sure that will ever happen though. People are talking about building a new stadium in about 10 years, which will be behind Abe.

  8. I think it's going to be a good game, but I'm not sure if Wb can win it. The lobos have a great rushing attack that I don't see WB slowing down. They have more speed on defense to deal with those sweeps and bubble screens that West Brook like to run. I just think it will be a slow start for Lv because of travel. If Wb can jump on them early in the game and can get some turnovers, I like their chances to win though

They are not in our coverage. We only took Lufkin and West Brook out of that district in our coverage area.

Not sure how Lufkin, Crockett, Lovelady, Groveton and Alto is in your coverage area...but ok. As for the rankings, don't understand New Caney, PNG being ranked ahead of us and even Memorial being ranked ahead of Atascocita, but it is what it is. Rankings don't matter.
