  1. I keep hearing PAM fans say " If we can handle LPs running offense then we can handle Vidors".
Well, I don't agree with that statement. A few years back i can remember Clear Brook taking a good LaPorte team to overtime despite their running offense. The very next week Vidor trounced Clear Brook because Clear Brook could not stop Vidors offense. LaPorte went on to a 9-2 record that year which included a win over PAM. It is a different animal

  2. It wont be 35-7 but they will be up. This Vidor team can be misleading.

They lost to a BH on a muddy field when they depend on angle blocks and hard cuts by the running backs. BH also had a new coach and system without video to game plan by. Vidor also had not figured out the proper placement of personnel . Different team now. Should have beat NED by alot more than they did. Crushed PNG in the first half until a series of events led to their demise . PNG has been practicing to stop this offense for years and still the only thing that stopped Vidor was momentum from a few bad calls and play calling in the second half. PAM will have problems with it.

  3. 1. Beaumont West Brook/Conroe

  4. Biaplayer, I think Vidor has a better chance@ beating PAM than PNG did. I think you are basing your thoughts off the Vidor vs PNG score which is misleading. Vidor almost ran away with that game early but had a series of misfortunate events take place which turned momentum. I also bet BH believes that 22-5A is weak because of their score against Vidor. Very misleading ! TYPICAL if PNG cant beat them then noone can attitude

  5. Vidor would surprise the hell out of Barbers Hill this go around ! The combination of personell changes and field conditions would turn the tables on this matchup. Vidor using the angle blocking attack and their running backs relying on hard cuts really hurt them in the first game considering the harsh field conditions. On turf , Vidor by 17 !

Throwing Dual-V's as we speak !

  6. Town wasn't named after King. It was named after Hungarian immigrant Charles , his grandfather. Just saying ! Descendants of both Ritter/Vidor Lumber company founders made it to Hollywood. King produced and/or directed most of Marilyn Monroes' films

** A funny tid bit of information: Vidor is hungarian for victorious !

  7. Vidor offense looked good.

Vidor trying the onside kick and not getting it right before the half took the wind out of their sails. (no pun intended). Being totally surprised by the onside kick to start the second half didnt help their momentum.

Vidors left side of defense needs some personnel changes if they want to win any playoff games. Sorry but I called it. PNG picked on that side all night. Yes there will be haters but its the truth.

    I predicted 42-21 so 44-22 wasnt bad.

Good luck Vidor but you definitely need help on the left side of your defense !

  8. THINGS WE WILL LEARN FROM THIS GAME !

REALITY CHECK FOR THEM PIRETTES .
    1. Vidors' Offense will prove to be a lot softer than advertised and will be shut down by a real defense ( the likes of which they have not seen ) ! THIS ISN'T JV GIRLS
    2. Vidors' ragtag secondary will get taken to school ! (Cornerbacks will have the loss riding on their shoulders)
    3. Vidors' O-line will get a taste of humble pie as they get knocked on their cans PLAY AFTER PLAY
    4. Just another year of Vidor talking smack but not being able to produce. Turns out to be just that ; SMACK . Different year but same old story.
    7. Faircloth will remain the supreme coach in this match-up ! (Mathews schooled again)

    * I can not wait to see the look on Vidors fans faces when they get smoked but they are used to losing (been doing it for years ITS THEIR TRADITION)LOL

  9. My take after watching some PNG video:

PNGs offense is pretty darn efficient at quick outside screens, pick plays and wrs hold their blocks. They throw better and more often to their right. Big reciever #11 is strong and athletic.

My take of after watching Vidor video:

Vidors weakness on defense is exactly where PNGs offensive strong suits are. Advantage PNG !
Although Vidor will move the ball.

    PNG 42

    Vidor 24

  10. After watching some videos . Vidor is pretty strong on both sides of the ball but their achilles heel is the left side edge of their defense against both run and pass. Also they can not get off of blocks and get overpowered and out athleted on that side . Just saying !
