Just asking, was there a halftime? It appeared to me the entire stadium, teams included, were exiting just as we were pulling out of the parking lot.

The players went to the locker room and if im not mistaken lightning hit in the area and the fans had to clear the stands..Yea it was a terrible game and one i will never forget. Now its a year later and its a new season and i highly doubt that will happen again tonight. Good Luck to both teams and hopefully Hardin comes out with the W.

Overrated team? Okay, I guess that is a bitter pill to swallow. But, lets see if you can handle your own medicine, huh? We lost to Kountze with Thomas injured (not hurt, there was no "boo boo" on his leg), that did happen. But I would like to see how Hardin does without Marsh. From the way that the Hardin people talk him up, it would appear that the biggest "stinger" the Hornets have is him. Take away a Hornet's stinger and what do you have? A fly, ready to be swat.

Ok well then Nolan would have Day, Davis, and Stelly to throw to. Yeah Marsh is the leading receiver but he isnt the only one that can catch a ball. Look at the other players stats as well.

Thats what makes Fridays IMO better than Saturdays and Sundays..

Looks like they are pretty well balanced.  You better not take them lightly.  They are lival to hurt us than we hurt them, especially in the early parts of the game.

Not quite...If you look at the stats, the qb is their main player...Leading passer (of course) and their leading rusher.

Not trying to say that they are not good, but it looks as if you shut him down and the rest will be history!

If its based on stats then Nolan and Marsh both have to be mentioned.

Nolan has 2,436 passing yards, 30 TD passes and 6 pics.

Marsh has 1,190 yards recieving and 15 TD's

The QB for Hardin has been at Hardin for as long as I have known him. Yea i moved out 2 Hardin back in 03 but that would put him in Jr. High at the time so i dont see where you got that from..

hd hasnt played hardin this year as far as i know, i honestly think if they did play the hornets, the hornets would stomp the bobcats with no second thoughts.

HD and Hardin havent played since the 05-06 season.

BucDM08...Talking about last year isnt going to get you anywhere..Yes it was 52-0 but no 1 cares about last year. The fact is Hardin is 8-1 EC is 8-1. We beat Kountze yall lost to them. Yall beat Buna we lost to them. Its a new year and a new attitude..EC better come ready!

I know that EC Buna and Hardin all have 1 district L and kountze has 2. I believe that Hardin and Buna has clinched because they both beat Kountze. Buna could take district if Hardin and Kountze both win this week and EC would be knocked out. If Hardin loses they are still in and will be 3rd. I believe thats how it would work out but not 100% sure.

Also if the hardin hornets can beat Groveton then I know the Bobcats can. I know hardin is having a good season, but man they have a history of having an awful football program. H-D used to always beat Hardin. We have always owned Hardin just like we have WH. To bad we have not played in years. I'm sure this year would have been a barn burner.

Say what you want about Hardin not beating HD...the last two times they faced each other, who came out on top?

Pressure in on EC this week.  Like it was stated above....EC loses and they stay home with an 8-2 record.  I have to say EC's secondary better wake up and be ready to play against Hardin's passing attack.  This last week of district football is just plain EXCITING!!!  Hope TT is healthy, so there won't be any excuses about who wins and who loses.

I agree. But you also have to add Hardin and East Chambers. If Hardin wins, Kountze is in and East Chambers is out.    8) :-\
