Their best run will come in 2011. That current sophomore class is deep and committed. No amazing athletes, but more than a few kids with developing skill. I was certain there were two seniors, one is to come following basketball season. so thier fresman group from last year was good??? Kville's freshman smoked them a couple of times last year!! Not the same group. Silsbee uses a "sophomore" team. Most of those guys were on JV. I don't think Kirbyville 'smoked' them.

I remember watching him in the high jump. I was with a state finalist that was very impressed by his ability to jump with such bad form.

What bothers me is that you only argue the importance. Talk about the slam man. Draw us a picture. Throw me a frickin bone here. I've seen some mad dunks, and I didn't make it to the game, so rate it. A personal favorite was one of the few alleyhoops I've witnessed between Terrence and a man by the name of Frog. ;D

McLovin, I realize that this is your personal choice as to who should represent Silsbee on it's Mount Rushmore, but you are way off on your perspective of prominent Silsbee athletes. I would have Stud for sure and maybe Chris and Mark, but no Shan. Aggies, the man could do it all. Maybe he didn't make it huge, but he still left his mark. You say MAYBE Mark Henry?!? The Strongest Man Alive?!? You are way off with anyone other than Mark. I understand this is the football forum, but there were no boundaries in the question like in the other threads. I'd say Chris is the maybe, but just because I don't know much about him.
