  1. I think he injured his leg/ankle making a tackle near/on the sideline,  his momentum carried him over and through and he landed on a chair/pavement.  However, I saw him trying to run later and thought he would be back in the 2nd half.  I had to leave at halftime, so I guess if he was on crutches after the half, then he didn't make it in then.

John will be fine he heals very fast.
  2. According to Dave Campbell he had only in the 60's for tackles

    Do whut?  ???

Trammell had well over 100 tackles last season. Stelly had a good season as well but to put things in perspective, Hardin's defense was on the field a lot longer than EC's defense providing Stelly with more opportunities to make tackles.

Perhaps you should be more certain of your facts before posting on the board?

  3. duh? Trammell is the best and will be the best all year. Dist. Def. Mvp as a Jr, Willie Ray Smith Finalist as a Jr. All this on a 5'8" frame. If this Kid was 6'2" he would one of the top LB prospect in the State. God blessed him with tons of heart and little height and he has made the most of what he has.

You have to be joking he will be in Stelly's distant shadow all year.  Stelly team captain since he was a freshman leading team in tackles each year.
  4. I hate to say this, but just being realistic if WH doesnt make some drastic changes in thier secondary this one could get ugly for the oilers.  Warren targeted on one CB, and ate him up all night.  On a positive note, the Oilers run defense is excellent with a very physical d-line and LB crew.  The boys are playing iron man football with 95% of them never leaving the field.  I think I counted 16 or 17 players that were suited up!!  The Oilers always play with 110% so win or lose we are still proud.  These tough games are just preparing us to get by the first round of the playoffs.

Stelly should go 200 yards again strong in the second half well conditioned never comes off the field and has a great O-Line .
