Stelly kid in top 5 of 2A hasn't played a 4th quarter yet and has not played in the last 7 quarters due to ankle injury.None of these are showing up in the major papers maybe the Smith kid only -

Hardin by a bunchjust like me who ever deweyville lines up against i think dville is gonna win
-
If you think Anahuac can play with Buna your lost Buna by a bunch! Not so fast my friend. I wouldn't bank on a Buna victory so soon after all, Anahuac isn't another 1A cream puff ya'll are used to beating. ;D
-
I agree he is for real.kid from Hardin is putting up some really good numbers.....who cares if its 5a or 1a? EC kid is good also
-
Groveton by 21 very good running game and pretty good at the pass too.Whats everyone think. This one is usually close .Last year Groveton kicked a PAT with 1 second left to win by 1.Haven't seen them this year but I know they will be pretty good.
Warren-18
Groveton-14

I hate to see so much bragging, need to bring it first and take care of business up to Anahuac firstWe will see how weak it is when Hardin beats Anahuac...But this time they wont need O.T.
-
Starters will not play much probably Stelly still out.Ewwww. Dis one gets bad!!
Hurricane Hardin.... big. :-\
-
Not this close but good luck OILERSKountze - 21
WH - 14

I agree except that HD will not have 100 yards total offense a landslide victory for the Coogs.Buna by 21
-
John will be fine he heals very fast.I think he injured his leg/ankle making a tackle near/on the sideline, his momentum carried him over and through and he landed on a chair/pavement. However, I saw him trying to run later and thought he would be back in the 2nd half. I had to leave at halftime, so I guess if he was on crutches after the half, then he didn't make it in then.

Nothing like great competition hope all remain healthythats always true but for sure when it is close top to bottum
-
Any word on Tarkington's rb and qb after the Hardin game hope all is well for them, the reason for no offense right now. Hope all is well.game over CC 28 Tark 0

Trammel only looks so good because plays behind a good D-Line
Having ACL surgery a few months prior to last season and playing with a pulled hamstring all season tends to reduce a player's speed.
Obviously someone who has not seen Trammell play, Stelly is good, but Trammell is in another league.
-
According to Dave Campbell he had only in the 60's for tackles
Do whut? ???
Trammell had well over 100 tackles last season. Stelly had a good season as well but to put things in perspective, Hardin's defense was on the field a lot longer than EC's defense providing Stelly with more opportunities to make tackles.
Perhaps you should be more certain of your facts before posting on the board?
-
You have to be joking he will be in Stelly's distant shadow all year. Stelly team captain since he was a freshman leading team in tackles each year.duh? Trammell is the best and will be the best all year. Dist. Def. Mvp as a Jr, Willie Ray Smith Finalist as a Jr. All this on a 5'8" frame. If this Kid was 6'2" he would one of the top LB prospect in the State. God blessed him with tons of heart and little height and he has made the most of what he has.

I AgreeIn my opinion the best power runner is at hardin John Stelly. Who do yall think is the best?
-
I have to agree Buna looks greatWow...last week Buna spanked O-Field (on their own field) and now EC struggles...maybe Buna should be considered the favorite in that district instead of the Bucs...sounds like Buna may have and team and EC may just have one player...?!?!
-
I believe Hardin has 4 maybe 5 picks and it is only game two.Well... The Bucs have a good secondary without Tramain and then you put him back there and he seems like he is every where.
-
Stelly should go 200 yards again strong in the second half well conditioned never comes off the field and has a great O-Line .I hate to say this, but just being realistic if WH doesnt make some drastic changes in thier secondary this one could get ugly for the oilers. Warren targeted on one CB, and ate him up all night. On a positive note, the Oilers run defense is excellent with a very physical d-line and LB crew. The boys are playing iron man football with 95% of them never leaving the field. I think I counted 16 or 17 players that were suited up!! The Oilers always play with 110% so win or lose we are still proud. These tough games are just preparing us to get by the first round of the playoffs.
-
Stelly and his defense had two crutial stops inside the five and one inside the 10 never comes off the field great competitor.I'm gonna have to nominate Jordan Nolan again this week.
Nolan was 23-31 for 313 yards in the air with 4 TDs, 0 Ints. 38 yards rushing. 351 Total offense.
Also, on offense Kaleb Stelly, 26 carries for 196 Yards.

Groveton is a solid contender for the 1A state championship, very good team well coached, good luck in the playoffs and good health. No way Groveton is a top 20 1A team. Kountze over Daisetta 31-14 after being shut out 22 - 0 last year. HD is ranked higher this year than at any point last year.
-
Trammel could not toe Stelly's sweat rag with only 60 tackles last year. The topic is plural.Trammel is the best linebacker in the district no doubt.I like Warrens as a group ,they are a solid unit. They are without a doubt the strength of Warrens team this year.
