In response to the original post on this thread, I shy away from generalizing an entire community based on a small portion of its residents.  However, the exchanges that I have seen from many of the BH posters, pre/post game do not compell me to relocate to BH ;).  The truth is BH is an up and coming program and played a great game last night.  Prior to the game according to the posts they were the greatest thing since central AC and could not beaten by anyone east of exit 800.  I'm sure there are great people there, good kids, everyone greets everyone with a hug and fresh baked muffins etc.  The problem is, for the most part we've witnessed posts and the ugly actions of those that you say are the minority,  Which makes it difficult to ignore.  Just saying....

BH34 your post was too long to quote in its entirety but your assessment of Ozen's defense leaves me with one question.  If your basing that on the fact BH was able to move the ball effectively, then are ou also saying that BH's offense is not good? Just curious....

It was the night after the game and all through the land I searched far and wide for a Barber's Hill fan.  After all of the smacking day and night, the most vocal of the bunch is now out of sight.   I witnessed the whole thing, it was worth the ride To see the 5-5 panthers give the Great eagles a black eye! Lol! Both teams were great, best game I've seen in a while!  This smack is for the BH smackers only! Kids keep your heads up you played a great game!

This was a great game!  I have become more and more impressed with Mathews and the rest of the Vidor Coaching staff.  Vidor has always played with heart, whether they were winning or not, but enjoy watching them line em up and grind it out.  It just made my day to watch them handle business these last two weeks, but last night was extra special because of all the smack that 19-4A has been talking.  Keep representing, keep executing, = keep winning! Much support and respect from this Panther fan!  P.S.- wouldn't mind a Pirate shirt for the playoffs  just saying...

Can't wait for game time!!!!! I wanna lay out in the middle of the field and make turf angels!  LOL! :D

Correct me if im wrong but wasnt ozen 5-5 [/quote] You are correct Ozen's record is 5-5, and yes they needed Vidor to beat Livingston to get in the playoffs.  However, they are a much better team than their record suggests.  Now that it is playoff time it's 0-0, and I would take my 5-5 team who lost to teams that are all better than the teams in your district, just as I will take a 1 loss S.E.C. team over an undefeated team in a weaker conference.  Just saying....  May the best teams win!  Go Panthers, Indians, Bulldogs, and Pirates.  20-4A rules!!!

MaxPreps Score Predictions:  Ozen 17, BH 31 HS Sports Predictions:  Ozen 18, BH 34 Dave Campbell's Texas Football Predicted Winner:  BH [/quote] Dude you cant be serious?  these predictions are largely based on records, and Ozen is 5-5 overall, so you can expect that more people will pick BH.  Not considering that BH plays in a watered down district and has not beaten anyone credible.  Just as you indicated that Ozen hasn't seen a "brick wall" like BH,(which is arguable), I guarantee BH has not had to defend a team with the personnel that Ozen has.  I expect to see a good game, and hope that BH approaches the game depending on Dave Campbell and your predictions to save them. 

I haven't seen Barber's Hill play this year, but expect them to play sound football.  With that being said it will be important for Ozen to minimize their mistakes to get the win.  I've seen Ozen play several times and know that they are explosive enough to beat just about anybody when they bring their A game.  It appears that Ozen is peeking at the right time and are poised to surprise a lot of people, starting with BH.  Let's go Panthers!!!!!!
