1. I wish Stump nothing but the best, and certainly cannot deny the success he had at Westbrook.  However, I do have to point out that Tebo wins also. ;)
 2. It's really good to be back talking football again.  I stopped posting for awhile as many of the comments were not about sports and often covert attempts to take shots at the kids who look like me(Especially after the playoffs).  Decided to give it a try again, moving FORWARD.  PAM and OZEN should be a much better game than last year, as OZEN was plagued by injuries when they played before, don't count out the rally cats from the Pear Orchid.  We are ready to end another streak.
 3.
If we eliminate penalties n mistakes Titans win easy by 2 tds we not afraid of Tony Brown our wrs are legit he cant cover everybody did he play n da game l ast yr when we blew them out so whats da difference
The difference is last year the starting QB (David Green) did not play the running back Jacoby Jones had to play QB.  Made the offense a bit one dimensional.  This year should be a better game that could go either way.  Go Panthers!
 4.
Ozen would be smart to work on the 10 yd and under passes. Mostly quick passes, slants, screens etc. Than bust a long one. You want to get it in the athletes hands and let the speedster perform. I would welcome any team that loaded the box to stop the run.  Cause your gonna get burnt on a quick pass.
Exactly, I've been saying this for years.  Short passing game to compliment the running game and let the atheletes have a track meet!

It's gone from the police to the coaches and to the parents. Other than who's really to blame (thug players), I blame BISD administrators. Did they not see this similar behavior when the Ozen players damaged a locker room to the tune of several thousands of dollars after the Barbers Hill game? Come on, folks, these kids only do what they're allowed to do. BISD administrators could have stomped the punks who caused the damage 2 weeks ago, and the message would have been received by the rest of the team, but that could've/would've resulted in kids being dismissed from the team, and we don't want the wrong message sent to these kids. So by doing nothing, the administrators' message to the players was essentially to continue to act that way because we don't care. Message was received and they acted accordingly. Yet another bad example of how BISD operates.
I knew at some point there would be at least one to turn this into a B.I.S.D. Thing.  The vandalism that you speak of didn't happen, it is a lie.  Yesterday's events were horrible and shed a negative light on both programs period.  This has not been a pattern of behavior for Ozen or any other BISD school.  Just as I didn't blame Port Neches ISD for the brawl started there by PNG players vs. Central 3 years ago, I think it's unfair for you to blame BISD for the lack of restraint shown by players from both teams.  The matter should be dealt with, those responsible should be corrected swiftly, with a strong hand. Your post is another bad example of the divisive venom that continues to spread throughout the region. I for one look forward to moving ahead and making progress towards a better unified community and moving passed the past.  I am so thankful that I am not alone, and that the dividers are becoming more scarce.
Nice attempt to deflect attention.  Criticizing the truth is the oldest trick in the book, but what you call "dividers" are, in fact, the folks who are tired of reading or hearing about the continuing behavior of the administrators and some students of the district, while at the same time, watching their tax dollars be spent on legal expenses.  Again, the kids will only do what is allowed.  If they don't feel any threat of punishment, then they will push the limits every time.  The same rings true for some administrators.  The day is nearing when new rules by new leaders will flush out a lot of this trashy behavior.  Once that is done, then the real purpose of educating the youngsters can occur.  Just saying what so many others are thinking.
It's not deflection, I am glad that you have appointed yourself to be the voice of concern to speak out against administrators etc.  this was a horrible occurrence, that's needs immediate attention as I'm sure you agree.  However, in your criticism of the district you used as evidence something is simply untrue, BH's locker room was not trashed, that did not occur.  We will agree to disagree on our views of BISD, but at least use the truth to make your points, the lies are not a good representation of you and those who appointed you to speak for them.
There's a guy in WO who keeps great stats and he has us ranked high in several categories. One would think with all the success LM has, there would be a documented history of these occurrences. So what we at LM need from you is, please advise when all this "disorder" occurred. And for context sake, I'm referring to the football program, nothing else. The reason why I'm doing that is because you can search any ISD and find problems.
From your perspective, i'm sure you'll see it one way and I'll see it another.  You are correct, no district or program is without problems, so let's talk about today.  There was a great deal of trash talking both ways, but the loss of control and when things turned physical it was LM players that crossed the line.  I'm sure that you go to most of your team's games as I go to most of Ozen's games.  I have never in all my years of my watching panther football have I ever seen a team brawl like what occurred today.  I have seen Lamarque play twice and both times I've seen the same type of behavior.  I understand that 2 games is a small sample, but dude your 2 for 2 and according to other posters this was not an isolated occurrence.  As a LM fan can you say that this a new thing for your program?  Just curious, please enlighten me, since you feel I'm misinformed.  I truly hate it for both programs as it is not a good look, and is not a good representation of either district.
You made a premise so like a thesis, it's your job to support it with facts, not generalities. I've been told the area around the Hamburger Depot by the college is a magnet for fights and drug usage. According to other posters this is not an isolated. See how that game can be played? All I'm asking for is specific examples. Other than today, what do you have to document LM football players regardless of fault, were involved in a brawl or melee before or after a game?
So you do get it!  Actually it is know for such activity and there appears to be some truth to what you've heard about Hamburger depot/College street area.  See how it works fella.  I stated in my previous post that my two times watching Lamarque play I "witnessed" the same type of behavior.  I also, noted that this was a small sample and then asked  you to clarify if this is a true representation of the program that you follow.
I get it. You got called out and then tried to switch the subject. It's not happening. There was no brawl after the Lumberton game. There was a brawl after the Ozen game. There is 1 brawl. 1! So let's try it one more time because again, you made the premise with terms like "disorder" and "questionable behavior." Give us the examples. And to give you the history, I was sitting with the super (who is black) at the Lumberton game. He didn't care about the reason why our players refused to shake hands after the game. He saw a coach who refused to address it and well, you know.
I wasn't called out, I simply asked you to be honest.  I told you about the behavior that I witnessed and asked a simple question.  Your refusal to answer that question tells me that there may be an ugly truth that you wish to ignore.  It appears that you are a graduate of the Ndamakin Suh school of spin, forgetting that it has all been witnessed by many.  Does that mean that the people of LM are bad people as a whole?  absolutely not.  If what I witnessed of your team and also what the others who post similar accounts about LM is false then say so. Otherwise good night, congrats on your win, and I hope that nothing like this occurs again. - since this is the first time in Lamarque's history that there has been a brawl, i'm sure it won't happen again. ;)
Finally, you agree there are no other examples. Then you've must concur, perhaps your use of terms like "continues to operate is disorder" and "questionable behavior" was at best a reach. And I'm sure neither team will be involved in this type of thing again.
LOL!  You still never answered my question. Good Night SUH

Its a level playing field here and anybody of any race who acts like those kids did, or says that the cops shouldnt have intervened, i disagree with. Thats my opinion and im entitled to it. Whats sad is that a lot of white people have moved forward from racism and completely despise it, myself included. But I wont be muzzled on my opinions just because the event may involve predominantly blacks and I dont want to labeled as a racist. At the end of the day, if it helps you sleep better to think of me as a racist then go ahead by all means, because it doesnt matter to me what you think. I know what I believe. But I WILL NOT stand nor condone actions like this no matter who the culprits.
I simply asked you to clarify what you meant.  I agree the behavior should not be tolerated regardless of race. I sleep very well every night, and I only questioned your use of certain words and the tone of your posts.  This is a public forum and your entitled to your opinions and rants, but understand that the things that you type do not include your intentions and may appear to mean something different when in black and white.  I wasn't questioning all white people, just you and for the record I didn't know your race until now.  You can sling accusations all you want, but I have absolutely nothing to gain by calling you a racist, which for the record I never did.  If it makes you feel better to make yourself the victim then go ahead, but I won't be "Muzzled" and stop asking questions about questionable posts.  8)

 10.
Seriously guys... This is like asking for proof that Rodman was a hothead on the court. Why are we going through these shenanigans? Everyone who has ever played LaMarque can attest to the fact that they are a late hit here or there away from being in a shoving match or an altercation. No one is trying to condemn the whole city over it, but trying to deny that there is a little bit rougher edge about LM than some other schools is a bit disingenuous.
True

I can understand a little jaw jacking but when it comes to this, individuals need to be reprimanded. I'm not one to point fingers because I think wrong is wrong no matter how you slice it. I have been a LM fan for 30 years and I have never seen such extreme disorder by a LM team or few. The Lumberton fiasco was just jaw jacking from both sides and both teams were reprimanded on both sidelines one at a time and that pretty much contained the situation from escalating any further. This on the other hand is completely unacceptable and although it's hard to discern all that were involved in the melee for now but whoever is found to have swung helmets or kicked players while they were down on the ground should be suspended from next weeks game on the LM side. Ozen isn't my concern because they should handle their own business appropriately. I don't care about winning or losing next week as this behavior is outrageous. If you can't figure out who to punish on the LM side then the Uil should disqualify LM from the playoffs. I love my Coogs but sometimes you have to do what is the right thing to do. If I catch flack for voicing my opinion then so be it! Great Post!  That just about nails it!

Frist of all as hard as it is to win state champinships how in the world does anyone on this site think LM has manage to do it with disorderly and thrugs when every program is the Setxs would like to be LM.
Get over yourself!  that has nothing to do with what the previous posts were about.  The only team that wants to be LM is LM.
 16.
I'm not from either school.  I just looked at the all the picks and both teams actions were bad. If there was "trash talking" from both teams then they were both at fault. And when is it "OK" to start a fight or go ahead and retaliate??? did they hurt your feelings by what they said??? did it cause serious harm to your child by words.... So according to you then it is "OK" if they do a little trash talking after the game to fight... whatever... How about teach your child to be a man and walk away... or don't trash talk back with another team and talk with your pads... Or if you get into a fight there are consequences. Quit making excuses for kids... and teach them right from wrong.. [/quote Not sure what we would have done without your words of wisdom.  Don't know what we would have done without it, thanks for saving us from more hours of endless debate. ;)

There are thugs on both sides. If one decides to go street, then the rest of the thugs go street..
Uhh??.....not exactly sure what you mean by this comment. Is this directed towards these two teams only or all teams??
I had the same question.  Inquiring minds want to know.

 20. Great Job Panthers!  I was a pleasure traveling and watching y'all make history!  Keep your heads up and know that you represented 20-4A and The City of Beaumont well.
