Running that Wing-T trickery-style gets you a lot of yards early on, but doesn't usually work consistently once the D figures you out. Vidor might make some noise, but won't make the playoffs.

A couple of  Vidor coaches left for lcm a few years ago . This is the same offensive scheme that you will see from lcm.

I know they started the jv scrimmage.

Thats exactly what they were doing!!! They didn't show us much from their starters but, I saw enough to know that they wont be last in district!!!

I think that Vidor will have a good chance. They looked serious in the wos scrimmage. When I say serious I mean the coaches. They were just rotating kids in and out.  It was a practice In their minds. They didn't get too wrapped in winning. If they stick to offense that they came out with and used only  briefly ,they could run right at you. They will have to come through the dawg pound first!!

I really liked the 4 Quarter scrimmage. Is it just me or did Vidor keep calling the same 4 plays on offense? The whole time there sticking to the same plays they are also alternating running backs in  so much you don't know who is who. The first 3  Possessions of the game they had a powerhouse runningback playing. Who is he? He looked stout! They definently have power. You almost got a feeling like hooks wanted to win and Vidor was hiding something.

Barbers Hill is a very young team this year. They returned 2 offensive starters and 3 defensive starters. They are definitely in a rebuilding phase.

What do you think will be the overall result of this scrimmage? Just curious!!!

I think they will have the smallest line in district.This is all just hear say though

I have heard that this will be one of the smallest Vidor teams in recent years?
