He has to get the ball to make a differnece.
Well we need to adjust the offense some kinda way. Move #16 to wr and put #7 in at qb. Coogs better wake up or it's going to be a sad night for the Seniors.

Does Marshall seem to be more physical and athletic than we are? I figured #21, Sqwirl, would play tonight and make a difference for our offense.

I think the loss last week was a good thing, let them know they can be beat if they don't play their best. Just the start of a long playoff run...
Manvel will demolish PAM next week. Not a knock on PAM but Manvel will not meet a team that will match them until Rd3 when they meet up with Cedar Park.

Grace didn't return until this season. He missed week 3 thru the postseason last year.

The Hill has always played us tough, with the new coach it might make all the difference in the world, but he cant tackle RJ they will have to do that on their on. Should be an interesting night.
This is the one matchup I think can go either way out of the 4...
BH has had the luxury of playing against 4 dual threat QBs in their district so I think they will be ready! Should be a good football atmosphere ... Good luck to both squads.

I agree, Tre would be a nice addition to the backfield .

I'm pretty sure PAM could match yalls speed... this argument sounds strangely familiar.. I think we read this from memorial fans all week lol
Not an arguement it's facts! #WeAreCrosby #CCTakeover will not disappoint .

Watch the video I just posted on a new thread if you wanna know why our kids are good this year. They have been playing together since they were babies and Mathews has been right there with them since the beginning. ANY team that wants the winning formula, that's how it's done. Crosby vs. Vidor will be the best game of bi-district. The difference won't be their defense vs. our offense. It will be our defense vs. their offense. We're gonna score; we run that offense BETTER THAN ANYONE IN THE STATE! (yes, I just said that). If our defense gives the same performance as they gave against PAM, we win. If not, gonna be a lot of scoring and who has the ball last.
You guys may score but it won't be much. I doubt PAM has our speed on both sides of the ball. Get ready to be hit hard and often!

What will their excuse be after Friday night against NC?
Won't need one because we will win .

The outcome of this game rest solely on the play of the Crosby Quarterback.
I partially agree, but I think the offensive penalties will play a factor too..
Also, if New Caney can pass well they will probably beat Crosby because of weak coverage skills from one of their corners.

If New Caney wins this game they win the outright district championship for the first time in a couple of decades. If Crosby wins this game they win at least a share of the district championship for the third straight year. If Barbers Hill knocks off Porter in the season finale I would consider this game for the district crown straight up, it would go down in the annals as a "Co-district championship" in that case though.
I see it as starting the playoffs a week early, especially Crosby who's going back to the place they lost to Porter. This game doesn't change either team's #1 seeding but it will be a big boost going into the playoffs.
Don't want to miss this one! After watching how Code Red defense played lights out last night against Humble I think we win this one. Plus Sqwirl will be back in action.

Crosby gonna have to find an answer for the skinny post. Or first round bounce. D completely shutdown the run game tho. Rio needs some discipline in that locker room. Penalties kept this game closer than it should have been. Would've liked to see #7 at qb and #16 at WR just one series.
The answer to getting torched is to sit #17 . The kid is not a coverage CB . He can tackle but lacks skill and speed to be starting at CB. Dayton ran trips to the opposite side the field and isolated him several times and it worked. I even watched #17 play 7yrds off the ball in the red zone. SMH

As weird as it would be, if BH and Crosby both run the table they'll end up as co-district champs. I would consider Crosby the real DC like we did King though.
New Caney will be district champs this season.

They gave up 353 rushing yards to one player. Damn damn damn
Dayton better correct that before they meet the mighty Cougars because with our backs we will have 500yrds before halftime.

@Bronco94 I'm a Crosby native... Born and raised so I might know a little bit about the Cougars vs Broncos matchups over my lifetime. In my opinion we've had better athletes majority of the years from 1999 until now. We were out coached during the Dickie era, had a few underperforming teams under Haines, but the Coogs have better players and coaches than the Broncos this year. We may have the best defense I've seen in the last 5yrs. I watched Crosby out play the same team you guys barely escape last week (Nederland) in their final scrimmage. Comparing the non-district games, we played better teams. Crosby will win district AGAIN ... Lol if you think the Coogs not that good this year.

Well a game like the Broncos had last Friday just shows you that two well coached teams with hard working players, well you never know what will happen.
Just know neither of these teams will stand a chance against Crosby!

Anybody who thinks BH offense will be able to do what Manvel did is a special case. Crosby defense will set the tone. Too many play makers at WR/RB even with Netherly out. Plus I heard some players have just become eligible on the O-line 35-14 Code Red. Starters pulled by the end of the third
BH will be nothing like Manvel. They had speedy athletes on both sides of the ball as well as huge linemen. TBH, Crosby dominated the game starting off and held Manvel to 0pts the second half. Code Red will beat BH with or without Manny...

True statement! They are stacked at pretty much all the skilled positions but for some reason Rio doesn't utilize good talent to the full potential. Poor play calling and lack of different packages to get more playmakers involved. I would wager my right leg that it is a host of coaches that are salivating to have the talent Crosby does. It's a disgrace to lose to a team that ran 2 plays pretty much all night.
