You're better than the lame LN  comments.  Always thought PNG was about Honor, Pride, Tradition... guess some of that is lip service.  This is a great rivalry, respect It, talk some trash, talk about the ditch parking we'll all do, but the LN comments are as classless as they come

Exactly... just ask Vidor and PAM.. Gonna have to put up points and lots of them..... This is one game I can honestly say... Legend Killer can take over and no one on that other side can stop him... Just wait and see...

He will get his. Still not too concerned. Probably will have 150 yards rushing. You don't beat png just running the ball like that though especially this year. You need balance.

I am even less worried about this game now. If pakronos has guaranteed victory for Nederland, i'm sure it will have about as much weight as his guaranteed Memorial victory over PNG.  Oh wait, Memorial lost that game.

I  agree. I have attended PNG football games for 52 years. I have seen horrible teams, and great teams. I was in bed sick for the Ozen game last night. That is the 5th football game I have missed in all those 52 years.  Support is critical for the success of any program. That being said, lets get some of these football fans out for PNG basketball as well.   Be an Indian fan.  Not just an Indian football fan.

I dont see how bandwagon or fair weather is an option when its your own 14-18 year olds but I hear ya

They should focus on this one instead of thinking of Ls in the future

Someone can correct me on this, but there has never been a season in PNG history, until now, where PNG has scored above 40 in seven straight games. This is an unprecedentedly efficient (relative to PNG) offense that Nederland has to stop. I won't say Nederland can't do it. They certainly held Memorial to a low-scoring contest, and they embrace the underdog role. I don't think Nederland can contain PNG for four quarters, and I don't think Nederland's offense is good enough to take every opportunity PNG's defense gives them. My prediction: PNG 50--Nederland 21. 
Looking at common opponents (which we all know is risky), I think Nederland has revealed some serious weaknesses in itself this season. The Bulldogs' defense is strong, but the offense doesn't offer enough to keep up in a shootout. Based on the past several years, you have to be ready for a shootout in MCM. Nederland has managed to win in years where I think PNG should have won, but this year, PNG's offense is more consistent and explosive than ... ever. 

I'll keep it short.  Congratulations to the Indians on an easy win that was never in doubt from the opening kickoff till the final seconds ticked off.  I hope you all had no injuries and make a good playoff run.  The better team, better coached team and better prepared team won tonight.
